Their makeup is completely overpriced for the quantities they charge, a gallon of fake professional-quality blood is only about 50 dollars Canadian from most other online canadian retailers, they charge NEARLY 200 DOLLARS just for a gallon of their "cheap we-make-it-ourselves" stuff, and even more so for the "manufactured stuff"
The woman who answers the phone is extremely rude, you call to ask a question and she acts like you're an idiot for not looking at the website (which wasn't clear, which is why I called)
They take a 10 dollar bottle of fake blood and mark it up to 30 dollars, they pride themselves because they supply the b-circuit and student films who don't know any better and push 1000s of dollars into this overpriced, pretentious, and "cinematic" and I use that term loosley because the only thing cinematic about that place is the sharpie pen that marks every product up by 125%.
Go online, most banks offer a card that acts as a credit card, and do your makeup shopping their, you'll probably find a 16 oz bottle of liquid latex for about 15 dollars if you :"google canadian liquid latex buy" and you're guaranteed to find a cheaper compromise someplace else. I found a gallon of fake blood that only cost me about 55 dollars after Shipping And Handling. A far-cry from the self-indulgent 185 dollars prices of ThomasFx magical golden fake blood..
Go somewhere else, unless you absolutely need breakaway glass, rubber gun props, or fake snow in a hurry. Or the powder blood, that's kinda neat, although you'd probably find that cheaper elsewhere. read more
