They have easy parking on the meters on the streets all the times I've gone around the later afternoons after getting off work. They are located on the 8th floor for check in. Then you go to the 9th floor for lab and pharmacy. The facility feels immaculately clean and the check in process is so easy and quick. I love this location and the doctors, nurses, and helpful staff in this facility.

She scheduled me for 11:30am because I needed to have something booked in their system, again, no problem. I called them and called them to let them know I would be getting there after noon and of course, no one answers their phones. I showed up at 12pm and to my surprised not a single person AT ALL to be found anywhere, crazy as any person could easily get to the main floor and have access to the office, major security breach and violation the place should be closed entirely. Every staff member here takes 1-2HR break at 12PM, so in the meantime all the people who showed up needing help to check in or had questions had to wait until the front desk people came out after 1pm followed by nurses only being available after 1:30pm ( From what front desk informed me). It sucks how little they care to take people's time with seriousness. It was a major inconvenience of my day going back and forth paying the extra parking fees, missing work time as well as making it harder on me as I'm battling my own injury and then having to rushing out of there to go pick up my kiddos.I understand the appt time was not met but if I was given precise information then I would have never allow this to happen. In other words HOURS HERE ON THEIR SITE AREN'T ACCURATE TIMES, the whole office is closed when they go on break 12-2PM and the real work hours for anything scheduled is 9-12 and 1:30-4pm after that they wont answer any calls so extremely disappointing experience. Looks like every Kaiser in the Valley has its major hipcups .

We were in and out in 2 hours and he got the medical attention he needed and was finally able to sleep and stopped vomiting. We were charged $635 for the first visit which included the urine test, 3 bottles of pills and 3 shots, then he had to come back for a $150 ultrasound (which they offer every Saturday between 8-2) and 2 more times for $150 and $115 antibiotic shots. This place is great for people like us who don't have health insurance. You will have to pay either right before the service or right after, but I think that's how they keep the prices relatively low. It's great to have an alternative to the emergency room, and this place offers way more services than an urgent care clinic. 4 stars because of the inconsistency of prices, and also they tried to charge us $500 for a hydration IV which I don't think he needed and we turned down. Also not 100% sure he needed the antibiotic shots in addition to the antibiotic pills he was taking.

We specifically asked if they accept our insurance, and they told us that yes we accept Lakeside Medical Group but we need to come in right away and said they would verify it in person. We arrived within about 20 minutes( at 1 am) only to be told they cannot verify it now and that we need to come back in the morning. This is unacceptable, especially for a place advertising 24-hour urgent care services. If you cannot help emergency patients during the night, then what is the purpose of being open 24 hours? We came here in pain, wasted time, and left without care. Very frustrating experience.

I have been going to this UCLA facility for a little over 8 years now. Thankfully, this office…read moreopened up close to my house, and I no longer have to drive all the way to Santa Monica City. I had a 3:15pm appointment with Dr. Mendoza, on the 10th of this month for my yearly physical. Got there 15 minutes early and Blanca at the front desk checked me in & Silvia checked me out. Both ladies were very nice, helpful, pleasant and polite. For a physical, they don't charge you. By the time I took a seat in their waiting area, which is very clean with complimentary water (hot and cold), my name was called by Christina. She took me to room #10 to do all my vitals. This lady is just AMAZING in every way on every level. She is the sweetest, soft spoken, kind, nice, helpful medical assistant that I know of. She has seen me twice before. Did her job and left. She is also very knowledgeable & compassionate. Next up is my primary doctor, Dr. Mendoza. He goes over my chart/records and highly suggested for me to take a Pneumonia shot addressing that people over 50 are highly recommended to do so, but NOT required. So the ball was in my court. I agreed to take that shot to prevent from other illnesses in the near future. Especially, when I suffered from Shingles not too long ago. Dr.Mendoza is good. He can be a bit more thorough, he is a bit too fast and quick. However, he does know his job pretty well. I wish one day he can address me by my name. Requested 6 different types of blood work and left the office. The entire visit overall took less than an hour. Blood work normally takes 24 to 48 hours for us to get our results. Dr. Mendoza replied/emailed in less than 24 hours. Thank you for that. Christina came back to give me the shot. She was so gentle that I didn't even feel the needle in my left arm. She even asked me if I am right handed or left. Based on my answer, she did what she was supposed to do. It's a 2-story building so I went back to the 2nd floor to get my labwork done. It was easy, breezy. Kenneth, that could have been a little bit more pleasant and slap a smile on his face was not that welcoming like Rosario is. Did his job and I left. Underground parking, very steep, watch the walls not to crash or hit the wall and other cars. 2 elevators working perfectly, and they accept most credit cards, most insurance plans/payments and that's all that I know. Bathrooms are available on both floors and overall the bathrooms and facility are very clean!! This building used to be some movie/celebrity building. They have so many of black and white photos of late celebrities. Too beautiful. Don't listen or read those negative, one or two star reviews. Negative people will always stay negative. Whatever that you do for them, it's never good enough. But they still keep going back to the same restaurants, stores, hospitals, cleaners, gas stations etc.. Blanca also gave me an appointment with Dr. Cheng on 7/24 at 3:40pm. Thank you all very much! Our health is in THEIR HANDS!

I even gave them the benefit of the doubt after my own experience and scheduled my husband there, and they did the exact same thing to him. At this point, something feels seriously off. I've already contacted UCLA and will also be reaching out to Anthem and the Medical Board because I think this practice deserves a closer look. I don't know what's going on, but this is not how a professional medical office should operate. The staff also seem disorganized and often don't appear to know what's going on. This is not the standard I expect from a practice affiliated with UCLA, and it's honestly embarrassing that they're associated with the UCLA name. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I genuinely can't recommend this office.

He proves that a doctor's visit doesn't need to be hours long to be thorough, thoughtful, detailed, effective, and--most importantly--to make you feel genuinely seen and heard. He is incredibly prompt and respectful of your time, while somehow never making the appointment feel rushed. He's kind, funny, caring, attentive, and has a way of immediately putting your mind at ease. I left feeling completely confident that my health is in very good hands. I'm newly postpartum, and he has been wonderful in helping me navigate the reins of this new chapter and come up with a plan for a truly healthy future so I can be my best self for my baby. He was incredibly thorough, provided me with excellent referrals, and made the entire process so seamless. I was able to have my labs done immediately after my appointment, received the results that same day, and he had already reviewed and addressed them with me. That kind of attentiveness and follow-through is so appreciated and, unfortunately, not something you find everywhere. He even went the extra mile discussing medication options and copays with me, actively trying to find the most affordable choices--definitely not something most PCPs go out of their way to do. Dr. Thomassian is the epitome of a doctor who genuinely loves what he does and truly cares about helping people. My husband and I both agree that we'll proudly and gladly keep him as our PCP until we're old and gray. Sorry, Dr. Thomassian--you're stuck with us for life! Couldn't recommend him more highly. Also, the staff was really great and super welcoming. I felt right at home from the first second I joined the clinic. Thanks for everything!
