Our family has been w/ this practice 25 years! Have seen Dr. Doner, the originating partner, now…read moredeceased, Dr. Garcia, retired, and for the last four years, Dr. Tyson Polley, DO,. He attended Ironwood HS at the same time as my kids and med school in Phoenix, so he knows the area. Never seen a DO before. The only difference: he isn't one to prescribe antibiotics freely-he often discusses alternatives, if any. He also discusses medication cost- and whether ins. will cover them. Never had a doc do this-really appreciate his unrushed, personal care. On Dr. Doner's death, my husband switched to Dr. Donevant-and I consider he and NP Aracelis "Sully" Von Rueden saved my husband's life by exerting themselves to find a cardiologist who could see him same day! Willingly took my elderly, near deaf mother into a then closed practice, so she could see the same doctor as myself and NP, Von Rueden-who was so sweet and compassionate. Willing to talk loudly(!) so mom wouldn't feel excluded, during the last stages of her life. Have absolutely no complaints on the care here. There seems to be an almost constant change in the front desk and the PA's-I don't know the reason. It's a very busy practice. Sometimes, one waits for 30 minutes or more. When this occurs, i mention this to the front desk and am usually called next. No rudeness! As with any doctors, one has to be self-aware; speak up in own or loved one's behalf. As a family, we have chronic conditions that require long-term/complicated care. Thanks to OVFP-we've survived!

Been going here for years and its gone down hill ever since Covid. Its supposed to be a family practice but everyone there treats it like a corporate job, 9 to 5.

I told her about a bad experience I had with a urologist about the same problem and let her know that he lied to me. She stated without question: "I will never lie to you" and I believed her. The staff also is so friendly and play with my "service puppy in training" which I find endearing. I have yet to have surgery as the tumor hasn't grown on scans and the hospitals were so full of covid patients I wouldn't want to be hospitalized anyway. My only note is that this practice is not on Tangerine Rd, but right off LaCholla using the main NW Hospital entrance. I will update this review after I have actually "gone under the knife". So far I couldn't be more pleased with all the interactions I have had with Dr Olsen and her staff. So nice to be treated well at a physician's office!!

I knew it would be a big, complicated surgery and Dr Olsen explained everything. The surgery went well but I developed some complications which Dr Olsen had explained might occur. She had to repair the damage caused by infection. Dr Olsen has been amazing as well as her colleagues and staff. She is so caring and admired for her skills. My only complaint is she cannot be my primary care physician.

Met with Dr Outzs who is family practice & a sports Dr. Checking in was Easy, the staff were very friendly & engaging. I waited less than 5 min. Triage: weight, stats about your health & why are you here today. Dr Outzs was very nice. Q&A was friendly & information was great. He listened to everything I said intently & offered guidance. Finding a GP I'm comfortable with is important. So glad I found one of the good ones. If looking for a good Dr with a caring heart, he's my recommendation.

She saw in what kind of state I was but took 1/2 to have me sign 10 pages of paper and make sure she gets my payment! Since I hadn't met my deductible, I had to pay $500 just because they took my blood pressure and prescribed something that didn't help! I had a back/leg pain that I was literary bent and they couldn't give me the right care! Didn't take any MRI or x-rays. The first night they gave me a medicated pad (salonpa)and I asked for a 2nd one, they said "you can buy it from the pharmacy)"! Mind you they meant the CVS or Walgreens at 10pm. What a shame to have medical professionals who don't like their job and don't care for people. I hope none of you ever need to go to the ER. I place St. Joseph and Banner way above them, though that was 12 years ago and maybe that has changed too
