As first time homebuyers, we were told three things by friends/family: 1) Buy now, interest rates are low 2) Expect to be searching for quite a while. The market is really competitive, so most of our offers may be rejected 3) Find a good realtor. Some realtors will try to sell you on anything and everything despite your needs. Therefore, we went into this home buying process expecting a lot of stress. Tom was recommended to us by a friend. I gave him a call and he immediately set us up with a collaboration center. As soon as we saw a property we liked, I would text Tom asking for him to schedule a tour over the weekend. He understood our busy schedules and even offered to go to look at the property himself and take photos/videos. What we liked about Tom is that he didn't try to sell us on a property that didn't fit what we wanted. After a few weeks we found a property that we wanted to make an offer on, but we were preparing ourselves for potential rejection since we knew this property already had some offers.
