Hannah made it pretty easy for me. Later, Hannah reviewed a real estate contract. She broadened my thinking about the deal and implications of various clauses. She gave clear, insightful ideas and sent me away with things to research In 2018 I looked for a trust attorney and wanted to work with Hannah. She was too busy to take my case, but she quickly reviewed some paperwork on a weekend, answered a few questions, and saved me from sleepless nights. Hannah referred me to a great attorney so I felt well cared for, even if I couldn't work directly with her. She's made legal stuff understandable and actionable. My contact person was their office manager/paralegal, Jennifer Richardson. On December 10, I emailed her asking about the promised referral -- no response. I followed up several more times by email and voicemail, and still no one ever got back to me. I eventually gave up and put the matter on hold. Fast forward to 2025: I decided to try again. After numerous phone calls, someone finally called me back and instructed me to submit a new application, which I did on August 30, 2025. Their website claims they process the application and get back within seven days, yet it has now been almost two months with no response despite multiple voicemails throughout September and October. In one of my messages, I even said, "I'm desperate and need to plan accordingly, so please let me know whether you're able to help." Still nothing. They do not accept walk-ins, do not answer phone calls, and as of today, they don't even have a working voicemail system -- you cannot leave a message anymore. I made one last attempt to reach them before posting this review, and once again, no luck. This clinic's complete lack of communication is unacceptable and unprofessional, especially for a legal aid organization.

I did the self-service thing with the Hayward court but it left me with more questions because I couldn't figure out what path Divorce.com did for me. Dave took one good look of my pile of mess and he was like, "this is no good, it'll get rejected". Lesson learned: have someone local to do your uncontested divorce paperwork. He got the right paperwork with Hayward's filing formats and filed my paperwork for me. All done within 24 hours. For the amount I paid him, it was worth it and it was a similar price to Divorce.com!
