Friday, February 12, 2021…read more My dryer began squeaking, and to me, it sounded like a pulley, so I called Carl's, made an appointment, and Bob came out today. Initially, the dryer didn't squeak. We've all experienced the scenario where we take our car into the dealership for a noise and can't reproduce. This happened this morning. I assured Bob that it does squeak, and at times it's so bad I have to close the door to the laundry room. After about five minutes, I thought all was lost and then - squeak! Bob had the dryer apart, replaced the belt, pulleys, did cleaning, and the dryer is perfect - all within 30, maybe 35 minutes. Bob was very professional and did a fantastic job at a fair price. Thank you, Carl's Appliance Sales & Service! Highly recommend.

This was actually kind of funny…read more Guy comes out (personality of a bag of hair), looks at our appliance and instantly gets on the phone for a guy at their office to walk him thru the repair. Had I know it was that east, I might have tried calling them and doing it myself! Charged over $500 and it quit working again in a week. Said we would need an entire overhaul of the appliance or be forced to buy a new one - big bucks! Called a repair service that specializes in our brand - they came out, identified the problem and fixed it within an hour. My advice: find a company that specializes in your brand of appliance. Had I stayed with them, it would have cost me between 2500 and 6000.

He came out same day , this was the only postive thing about the experience. They took the back off the fridge and told me exactly what I told them on the phone and asked for my paperwork for the warranty that they didn't honor (I was aware of) but it's 90 degrees out and I have no fridge. So they came to my house to do absolutely nothing but stand and talk about how he can send me someone to fix my problem for more than my refrigerator cost brand new.
