Great paintings. They have also added a store called The Blended Bungalow inside. Thomas is very friendly and welcoming to customers.

I am so glad I discovered this creativity place leading by talented professional Dori and Scott…read more For the last few years I have been attending weekly evening classes with Dori, natural teacher and great artist. She was teaching me from scratch. I always thought I do not have talent for painting and never tried until I went to this amazing studio. Dori has her own unique way of teaching with her gentle guidance, encouragement and ability to create such a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere during the class. Looking back I see how much progress I did during last years. I learned how to paint from the my photographs beautiful landscapes, still life paintings and portraits. In my class there are students who coming for a year or more, everyone developing their own style of painting with Dori help. I enjoy my classes as well as other students. For the last few years our painting class with Dori was going in parallel with Scott pottery class in a next room. In both classes there is great atmosphere of respect, professionalism and joy. The door between our classes is opened sometimes and we hear how often they laugh while working on beautiful pottery projects. If you would like to develop your creativity and work with wonderful professionals Dori and Scott I highly recommend this art studio (I know that there is a waiting line to get to these classes since old students not leaving them!) This review is gonna be short and sweet. Treat yourself to Gabriella's ASAP! This is what the south…read moreis all about... Amazing soul food done right. I have no clue why this place isn't mentioned in the convo of soul food restaurants in bham. The other places are good, but Gabriella's is great. There's no reason you should leave here disappointed. Self serve buffet and dining areas feel snug but not a deal breaker at all. Now that it's warm season, there's quite a bit of outdoor seating as well. You'll find 3 or 4 different meats, not to mention what's at the carving station. There's a plethora of veggies to enjoy as well as a table full of desserts to feast on as well. For takeout, you can do a meat + 2 or a meat + 3. For dining in you have to do the $18 all you can eat and it's so worth it. This includes of course as many plates, drinks and desserts as you want. I've only been here twice but since the most recent visit, this place will definitely be added to the rotation. It was a great reminder on what we've been missing out on. Don't you miss out... Get on over to Gabriella's!

SOLIDDDD choice for a good ole Southern meal…read more This joint is a restaurant, turned catering business, turned restaurant on Sundays. It's the buffet of your dreams with all the country fixins for just $18. It's located on North Side (BHAM) and since they're open on a Sunday in a part of town where most businesses are closed, it's rather easy to find a parking spot. It's a nice spot, really. With white tablecloths and close quarters. It's literally just one room, stuffed to the gills with food, and one with guest seating. You take your seat, put in your drink order and then eat however much you want! And the food, THE FOOD, it's really delicious. It all tastes just like the Sunday dinners we used to have at my grandmother's house. I really wish that I could have eaten more BUT there's only so much a girl can do. Get over to Gabriella's and treat your self!
