I came here last month with my partner for a couples massage. Prior to coming in to get the…read moremassage, I exchanged several communications via text with Isla. Our conversations involved the type of pain I was experiencing and why this pain was occurring. When we came into the entryway, we were greeted warmly and then asked to fill out some forms to disclose any health issues as well as any concerns. My partner was shocked when we entered the foyer as I had not disclosed what we'd be doing when we arrived in Fredericksburg. During the massage, Isla described to my partner the types of movements and decompression exercises that could be done to alleviate pain points. Both of our messages were enjoyable and the hospitality shown here was unparalleled. We both walked away feeling refreshed. #supportlocal

She responded to my inquiry within a few days and the booking was easy. We came in for the appointment and honestly, it doesn't have the space "feel", however, I can appreciate the small town "feel" so I overlooked this part. The massage was nice. My husband had Johanna and I had Sarah. I thought Sarah did a great massage. I was very relaxed and the pressure was fine for me. My husband said he did feel relaxed...so relaxed that he fell asleep. I have 2 negatives that may be more for informational purposes. First is, in the room, the beds are comfy, but there is a lot of stuff kind of stacked up in there. Not sure if this is all used daily but it was a little bit cluttered looking. I'm just a minimal type of person so I noticed right away. Second is the facials. I have had facials before and I did expect something different. My husband has never had a facial before and he also expected something different. He did say he felt refreshed, but I think he didn't want me to feel bad that I expected more from the facial part. It was basically a lot of lotions and serums being applied and wiped. Also quite a few hot towels in between. This part is ok, but they smelled alittle strange. Toward the end, there were cold wet towels (paper towels????) put on my face and I was not expecting that. Honestly, other than the facial, we were relaxed and they were very sweet ladies!
