First time visit - but have received massage and spa treatments while adult life -- very bad experience - I felt the technician was very very inexperienced. Very very rough - to the point I was popping up off the table - very painful. It got better - but she was very very difficult to communicate with. I filled out the form in advance - won't go back. - a painful non relaxing experience that was very pricey read more

I was in a lot of pain and called at the last minute for an appointment. They made room for me for 1 hour massage and it was amazing. I left feeling much better. The price was good, therapist was nice and thorough. Definitely give them a try. read more

So good! We actually got double booked at the Albert Spa and had to find another spa on a quick turnaround and FredSpa was outstanding! We got there early but they started right away and were truly a 10/10. Fantastic in every aspect. Would really recommend!!! read more

My wife and I both had massages done by Vicki and Angela at FredSpa, and they're most likely two of the best we've had! Thank you!!!

Visited the Green House location for a couples massage and was blown away by the service! I personally had David work on me and he was fantastic, considerate of my preferences and really worked on my knots. My husband had the deep tissue and he thoroughly enjoyed it. Scott the owner thanked us as we checked out and was very friendly, inviting and knowledgeable. Definitely making this a consistent stop when we are in town. read more

My husband booked a 90-minute couple's massage for one of my Christmas gifts and it was one of the best massages we've ever had. We didn't know it was deep tissue or that hot stones were involved so that was a nice surprise. My therapist was Yumi and she was amazing. She worked really hard on the knots in my back. It was very relaxing. read more

What I didn't know I needed... We went for a couples massage and it was worth every penny and then some. I got the deep tissue with the walking on back option. As strange as it sounds it was exactly what I needed. A day later with a hike up Enchanted Rock and I still feel amazing. We are going back tomorrow for some more exquisite pain... read more

This place is absolutely amazing! We have had quite a few massages in the past and this one was hands down the best one ever!! We had Lisa and Faith for a 90 minute deep tissue couples massage. We got a free hot stone upgrade. Lisa was walking on my husband's back. He said it was so amazing and intense. Faith made me feel 5 years younger. We will definitely be back again soon! Take some Motrin and 1/3 of a delta extrax adios amigo cbd gummy 30 minutes before your appointment. You can thank me later. read more

My wife and I got a couples massage here. The staff was very courteous. It's really well located near the main strip so you can walk there and still be close to where all the shops are. read more

Fred spa (short for Fredericksburg Spa) is a hidden jewel. As you all probably know, every vacation that we go on without our child, we get a couples massage. This one was amazing, honestly the best massage we've gotten by FAR! My legs felt like jello after. I couldn't stop giggling because my husband was snoring!! I wish we lived closer so we could come back more frequently! If you're in town you MUST go! The waiting area feels cozy and you get to know your masseuses while filling out the paperwork. Then you walk through a curtain and feel like you're in a totally different building. It's so serene. The lights are dim, and music is playing. We had hot stones that melted all my aches away. Scott worked on my feet and they've never felt better. Guys seriously, you have to try this place out. read more

Decided to have a relaxing massage while hitting the Wine & Wildflower trail. What a wonderful treat. Had a 1-hour Couples Massage and we both agreed it was AMAZING!!! Fred and Amy did a great job and we left very relaxed and laid back. I recommend that you block out a couple of hours to enjoy some "me" time if you are in the area!! read more

My husband and I went here on our honeymoon for the couples massage. We arrived 20 minutes early, so we went inside and they had us fill out forms since we were new clients. The massage didn't start until about 10-15 minutes after that. It was nice and relaxing, but I felt like they didn't really work the knots out of the target areas I had mentioned before. And they could've used more pressure. Both my husband and I agreed that it could've been better. We were dressed and out the door 15 minutes before our massage should have ended, so I feel like they should've finished the massage fully. read more

Not what I wanted. I wanted a deep tissue accupressure massage and got Swedish with hot stone massage. She used a few targeted release techniques but the majority was very light and ineffective at releasing any tension. It was not very relaxing either as I felt like I was being lightly tickled. I did mention several times what I wanted too. She seemed very timid though and like afraid to hurt me. read more

My friends and I booked massages while visiting Fredericksburg and we were so glad we did. Everyone had an amazing massage. We left completely relaxed and feeling so much lighter. Thank you to Fred and staff for getting us in last minute. We will definitely be back! read more

Best massage I have ever received. had couples massage and recommend to every couple planning a getaway!! Clean, friendy and the women are experts at their craft. Ten stars!!! read more

Wish I could have more than 5 stars. Me and My friend got a couples massage and it was AMAZING!! I've read these reviews and obviously some of these people that give less than 5 stars don't know anything about massages or relaxation. I was literally drooling!! I feel so rejuvenated and relaxed. Check on was easy and pleasant. I felt welcomed from the moment I walked In!! Definitely recommend and so does my guy friend! read more

40th Anniversary couples massage. Wow. So relaxing. Great massage. Would go back. My massage pressure was on point!!

I get a massage every week, and I'd rate this one 10/10. The deep tissue massage was thorough, and correct pressure was applied. Highly recommended for cyclists and anyone else who's in pain. read more

I had a short stay in Fredericksburg for s serenity weekend and did not get a chance to call ahead to schedule a massage. I took a chance and stopped by Fredspa and not only did I get a massage same day, I was also able to schedule a cupping session also. Two days after my treatments my neck and back pain was gone. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff and owner was very friendly. I highly recommend the whole team. read more

Sorry, this was not the best massage. It may have been an off day for the masseuse or something, but during the massage I was like when will this be over. When the masseuse did my feet, he basically used his nails, or maybe he had pointy sharp knuckles or something. It wasn't a relaxing massage, more of a okay let's get this done type of massage. They didn't even ask me if the pressure was okay. Never checked in on me. If you're like an athlete and need knots worked out roughly, then go to this place, but if you want a nice, soothing massage, then I recommend trying another place. I wish it was a better experience. read more

This place was great! Everyone was very courteous and professional. I had a couples massage with my boyfriend and we both had a very relaxing experience and would definitely go back again! read more

The couple's massage was fantastic! I felt so comfortable and relaxed the entire time. The building was lovely, clean, and quiet, and the massage therapists were so sweet and professional. Highly recommend! read more

Paid for a 90 minute couples massage. We were given a form to fill out before it started where you could indicate the areas you wanted the massage person (definitely NOT a masseuse) to concentrate. I asked specifically for my upper back, neck, and head. I asked for deep tissue and my husband Swedish. We both got exactly the same massage with the ladies working in sync. Out of 90 minutes, I got about 4 minutes on the area I asked to concentrate on. Not sure how this place has the ratings it does unless there are just that many people who've never had a real massage leaving reviews. read more

We booked the one hour couples massage and it was probably the best massage I have ever had. The staff was very professional and friendly.

The girlfriend and I ran across this place by chance, and they were able to get us a couples massage booked for the next day. Holy crap these folks are amazing! I generally have a hard time relaxing since I don't really like people touching me, but they were hands down the best massage I have ever had. If you are in the area you should definitely take a moment to get yourself an appointment with these amazing massage artists! read more

Birthday getaway with my beautiful girlfriend so I got us a 90 minute couples massage. (Because I am THAT guy ) We both were knocked unconscious a few times by the relaxing and expert hands of our hosts and the massages were awesome and totally relaxing and invigorating at the same time. Then came the twist. As part of the massage we moved from "relaxing" to a little "deep tissue". Holy !!! Don't get me wrong; it was excellent. But Not only did I have some knots and spots but she suggested I might have a little extra going on and gave me some exercises to work on it. After less than a week I'm already feeling looser and better. Love these two and there must stop massages. See you next time we are back in town! read more

This quaint place is located super close to Main Street so it is within a walkable distance from the shops. We received a couple's massage and it was a very relaxing one-hour session. The pressure was on the lighter end but it was still very therapeutic and effective loosened my shoulders! I cannot forget to mention the staff; they were so kind! We definitely plan to return to this location in the near future. Highly recommend supporting this small family-owned business! read more

My fiance and I got the 90-minute couple's massage and it was worth the money - they took great care of us from the minute we walked in and made sure that both the pressure and heat from the stones was appropriate. My back was tight and she even got onto the table to get my back loosened up. Thanks to this small business! read more

My husband and I booked a 60 minute couples massage here based on the high online ratings but unfortunately our experience wasn't great. I've had 25-30 massages before and I'd say that there was no semblance of massage techniques used during our session. The technicians pounded on me and my husband with their fists and dug into our muscles with their elbows. They spoke to each other in another language throughout the whole session and didn't understand when I told them to go lighter on the pressure. During the head massage the technician literally put her fingers inside my ears and moved them in and out quickly. At the end of the massage both technicians repeatedly picked up me and my husband's legs and threw them up and down onto the table. The whole experience was comical and surreal. Afterward I was barely able to stand up straight. I've given a two star rating because although the massages were not good the ladies were sweet (but I'm not sure where they were trained). One other small note, you will be asked to take your shoes off outside and then have to walk around barefoot in the establishment, including the bathroom, which had old carpet squares laid down on the floor which seemed unhygienic. read more
