Our waiter, whose name I forget, patiently explained the menu to us, gave us wine recommendations (any wine they have by the bottle is also available by the glass), and kept communicating between me and the kitchen regarding my allergies. Was it okay if the pork was marinated in garlic and onion but there were no pieces? Was I lactose intolerant or lactoprotein intolerant? Wow - I didn't even know the difference myself. Now, onto the food. I had the 380kr set menu, and my boyfriend had the 420kr set menu. I would describe the place as Asian fusion. - Salmon: Wow! Baked ever so slightly so that it is still basically raw, it just melts in your mouth like butter and meshes perfectly with the eggplant puree and roe. The fried fish skin chips were also a nice addition. - Pork loin: Now, I think it was because they had to cook the pork completely differently to accomodate my allergies, but I found it a little rough and way too salty. Maybe the normal pork loin that they serve is better. - Dessert: Not many comments here. Chocolate sorbet was very good. Portions definitely run on the smaller side though, so order some snacks from their menu to go with your set dinner. Would definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in Stockholm.

Good cocktail and sashimi - not so cozy atmosphere. The…read morecocktail menu is interesting and daring, offering twists on old classics as well as novel invention. The sashimi is very authentic and delectable. The exception is the reindeer which is neither good nor necessary. The desserts are, as in most Asian restaurants, not the main attraction. Instead, a mix of sashimi and smaller dishes works very well here. The overall mood of the restaurant is a bit hectic, but nothing that really subtracts from the food experience. 2-3 of their small dishes are sufficient for a good evening meal. It is reasonably priced and the service is standard Scandinavian.

You order and pay right away, we got the "Dumplings and rice" and the "Green bowl". Both were delicious! The dumplings and rice had big slices of super tender pork, pickled cucumber, rice, soy mayonnaise, spicy cabbage and huge dumplings. Lots of flavor and so tasty! The green bowl was smoked creamy polenta, beets, crispy corn, Brillat Savarin and brussel sprouts. Lovely! We finished with the dessert of the year! (Pretty close anyway) Maple syrup créme brûlée with soy, browned butter and crispy rye bread. F R E A K I N F A N T A S T I C! Almost brought tears in my eyes. This is next to their acclaimed sister restaurant Adam & Albin, one of the best dinner experiences you can find in this city. At night Tvätteriet turns into a cooking studio and dinner venue for parties up to 30. Service was a bit reserved but professional. FYI- don't bring your stroller here, you can't have it next to the table and they do not have any chairs for babies.

Beyond sushi, you will find bibimbap, and some Thai dishes on the menu. The entire menu is a small selection of quality dishes! The best thing on the menu is their barbecue jackfruit, a tender, lucious flavor you won't believe is made of plants. It goes perfectly with their sweet potato fries, the thin, perfectly spiced morsels that strike the balance between crispiness and still tasting true to their status as a vegetable. The udon broth bowl was complex and comforting, with tender mushrooms, kimchi that was flavorful without being overly sour, and the kind of rich broth that's impossible to replicate at home. Don't miss the burrito either, or the multiple sauces that can transform any of the dishes. Lastly, the service was great. The staff was so helpful in translating the menu for us and answering any questions, and getting us everything we needed to have a wholly satisfying experience. It's also very reasonably priced for the amount of food and quality that you get. My only complaint is that I wish they had a menu that didn't move. Made the ordering process a little difficult. But it's made easier by knowing you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

They don't have raw salmon, to one of my colleague's chagrin, and their ribs were not what we had expected - sweet and sour pork ribs that were left unfinished. I think this is a fantastic place for after work drinks or a date. It's just bright enough for you to read the menu and see each other, but just dark enough that the your pores and pimples are well-hidden. We were there for dinner after shopping and there were quite a few people inside (about 15 or so). This place is HUGE though, so it looked almost empty. The workers in the restaurant seemed to not really care that some dishes were almost empty, as they passed by, looked around, and left without replacing anything. In addition, this place looks really rough. The ceiling is literally pieces of A4 papers and newspapers taped together. The decor looks like it was bought in 1982 and never cared for or refurbished. I really should've taken pictures. I couldn't believe my eyes! As for the food, there were some positives about the experience. Some of the dishes were edible and the sushi rolls were ok as well. However... I struggled to chew through some of the dumpling wrappers. I had to spit out some beef. The rice took a few good, strong swings to release itself from the serving spoon. The shumai and potstickers were so sticky and over-steamed that trying to pick one up was an impossible task. I've never before felt so betrayed by bamboo steamers in my life. I'm sincerely hoping this was just because it was late in the day, but I don't ever want to go back to find out. Just go to the kebab place next door!
