Came across this place kind of by accident while driving through Johnson City. What a nice,…read moreunexpected gem. They offer wine tastings from wines around the world - not just Texas Trail wines. And they have rotating art installations, some of which were just uber cool when we stopped in (please see pics). The proprietor's Warren and his wife (sorry, I didn't get her name) were very welcoming and took time to show us around. We will definitely be back! Wine and art without pretentiousness. Yee haw!!!

The mystery was finally solved when we went to Debra Goldstein Fine Art, thanks to Debra herself. She explained the Sculpture Ranch to us that we'd seen, and this crazy art mansion we'd passed in Stonewall, too. She even took us out in the backyard to see this 3 ton (that's 6000 lbs, readers!) dripped bronze sculpture by Mr. Johann Eyfells that he had put in Debra's backyard with a helicopter. He moved out to Johnson City about eight years ago when his wife Kristen died and never returned to their shared city of New York. How beautifully tragic. Thanks for solving the mystery, Debra, and for the brownies! It was great to meet you! The collection of chairs as art is also fabulous.

Amazing pottery, neon sculptures, diachronic glass, mosaics, kinetic art, and furniture. I seriously could have blown the savings account in a few minutes. A wonderful array of artists at the top of their craft. Super friendly staff whether you were spending 10K or just a few dollars. We're gonna have to save a bit cutting out toothpicks, hairspray, and diet cokes but I think I might be able to go get something next visit.
