After searching google and yelp reviews for shops that did ear piercings we settled on this shop…read moreand overall the experience was fantastic. We were able to get an appointment quickly with a piercer who has been in the business for 17 years, which is great to have someone with all that knowledge. It took about 20 minutes to get through the paperwork and have the earrings sanitized and when my daughter sat down she spent additional time walking her through all of the steps and expectations - we were never rushed and all questions were respectfully answered. When my daughter got nervous she stopped and calmly walked her through it and waited until she was fully ready again. The piercing sites were marked where my daughter was able to see before hand and adjust as desired, everything was cleaned and then after the piercing she applied a cold saline cloth which my daughter loved. It has been two weeks and so far the piercings haven't caused any pain - we followed the advice to not turn and clean with saline spray only as needed, which is the exact opposite advice I received decades ago and it has worked fantastically. Also, the earring she got had flat backs so they don't poke into her head, which has also provided better comfort then the shopping mall piercing I received as a child. Additionally, we go back after 8 weeks for them to update her earring size, which provides a smaller rod through her ear since the current earring is longer to account for swelling - this is a great option which I wasn't expecting, there is a lot of thought that goes through this entire process! I highly recommend this for a first piercing for your child. It is far more expensive than a mall piercing but such a better experience that it is definitely worth it!

Then Robin proceeded to set up for the piercing while watching a YOUTUBE VIDEO on how a forward helix is done. Not only that but my friends and I watched him take a dab before attempting my piercing!!! As my ear is gushing blood, he knocked over the "sanitized" table that holds his tools and was getting very visibly angry. After 15 minutes of him poking and prodding me and my ear FILLING WITH BLOOD, he asked if I would be mad if he re-pierced it?!?!?! I said fuck this and left with a bloody ear and a hole. It ended up embedding. Unprofessional, refusal to fix an embedded piercing unless I paid for it when it embedded by being pierced with too short of a bar, something not my fault.. and both piercings were pierced at improper angles so now I can't stretch my second lobe without risk of tearing. Had to go to a different piercer to fix it who confirmed the bar was short, fixed it up and got me a longer bar for free, and confirmed the angle was incorrect. And way over priced.

The person that did our tattoo was Ben and he was very patient with all of the questions that we had and was very thorough on explaining what needed to be done before and after. The first time I came in, I did not have my ID with me and he would not let me get my tattoo, which is understandable and I do appreciate the fact that the company does follow the rules. The tattoo artist also kept everything very, very clean and was able to sanitize before and after each guest, which I really appreciated. My mom and I were hesitant to make sure that we had the exact size and placement that we wanted and he was very patient as we Decided and he did have re do some drawings for us and was patient with that as well. Getting a tattoo isn't pleasant but Ben did a great job of explaining what he was going to do, how long it would take and he told us when he was beginning. He made sure we were okay the entire process. The vibe of the place is unique with action figures and posters all around. It's fun to look at while you're waiting. They also have tvs playing movies and tv shows at each station to distract you while they work. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get a tattoo!
