I could give these ladies a zero I absolutely would! A company that utilizes the uber platform but guilt trips a driver for coming into use the restroom is absolutely ridiculous! I was mortified after letting them know I was a driver and asking to use their restroom today... I was told that it's for customers only... but ok this time... I felt bad after using said restroom and purchased a drink only to get a story about the pandemic, having to close down as nurses and restart again. Stopped by here to get a drink for the road. The inside is decorated very nicely! The customer service is great as well. I got a rose milk tea with sea salt cheese foam, boba, 50% sweet, and light ice. The milk tea is delicious. It's light, floral, and sweet. The cheese foam gives it a silky taste. Walked in last night to purchase a drink. I remember this having a different name, so I was surprised to see it had changed to ThirsTea, especially when there is another one very close by. The employee working behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. He was also pretty funny. The place is clean, pretty big and has plenty of seating. I ordered a Strawberry Hibiscus Green Tea. Nothing to the service because the guy seemed overwhelmed as there is only 1 worker for 5+ orders in the span of 10 minutes. $4.50 for less than a handful of fries that we waited 20 mins for and $7.50 rolled ice cream that can only be described as sad. Pity because the ice cream was not bad, taste wise. Fries were so bland until we asked for more seasoning which we had to add ourselves. I've never seen a boba place with such variety! They do rolled ice cream, bubble waffles, soufflé pancakes and so much more. Their boba is pretty good too; it's the right amount of soft and chewy. It is very reminiscent of boba from The Alley if you like that kind of boba. Definitely try their soufflé pancakes! They are super soft, and theres even a good variety of flavors too. I recommend ordering online for the soufflé pancakes because it can take around 20-30 minutes to finish one. The staff is also really nice! If you enjoy throwing your money away and paying for 1/2 a cup of ice for $8, while they stand there at the register hoping you tip them on top of that (no pressure!), PRIOR to even making your drink - this place is for you. I shouldn't have to request not being ripped off and ask for a morally acceptable amount of ice. You aren't supposed to make customers do extra work and have to exercise extra caution when they're paying you money to serve them. It's a*s-backwards here - you're supposed to be able to fully relax at establishments providing food and drink, but I always have to exercise extra caution at these places here because I'm so used to extremely subpar service in this area. Everyone is just so used to it here. If you think I sound entitled, you are one of the clueless ones I refer to. I have always been one to be extremely conscientious and have a general care for the wellbeing of others, that I stack plates and tidy up my table (for as long as I can remember), and give healthy tips if I feel my servers actually care for my wellbeing as well. That very frequently isn't the case around here. Pease don't pretend like most people actually want half their drink to be ice, especially in the middle of winter. The scarcity mentality is so profane here - a few extra bucks over the course of a day from giving customers less product and more ice - happens so frequently around here. If it's an extra charge to omit ice, extra karma for them, every single time they serve a drink. I don't understand how people can't get the very basic concept of providing the absolute best service in every way through honesty and truly wanting to be of service (and not ripping people off through serving 50% ice), is the way they would become the most thriving of businesses. You don't need extra gimmicks like corner karaoke in hopes of making a few extra bucks - instead focus on the main attraction and provide the best drinks you can get anywhere in the area. How much more simple can it get? If they made a proper drink with just the right amount of ice, an adequate, proportional amount of additions such as boba, and a properly balanced tasting drink filled all the way to the top every single time, consistently, and with care - not just seeing dollar bills walking through the door, but people you can care about and be of service to - then everyone would be coming here, via word of mouth. I find so many people around here smiling at you as if they're "nice" and care about you, when it seems they smile at you instead because they want something from you, or are just generally fake, not wanting to actually have a conversation with you...then do the most immoral crap like rip you off, cut you off, and more. They're not stupid in the sense they don't realize they're ripping you off, but they're definitely not smart trying to get short term gains and not thinking of longer term consequences like a far smaller customer base than what's possible, and karmic accumulation that they'll have to face with themselves. You know, one of those things that makes me want to punch my fist through a wall is this stupid system with Apple where at the cash register, you're asked to tip for services that you didn't even receive yet. It's as*inine. Tips are supposed to be EARNED, based on the performance you had already given. The evil of this system creates an expectation from the business for you to tip them already, when you don't know what kind of service you're going to get, and it creates pressure and guilt on the consumer if they don't want to stupidly tip prior to the service. And for what, doing the service you were supposed to provide in the first place? Tips used to be made when servers made less than minimum wage, and earned the rest based on performance. There is no longer any justification to tip since servers get at least minimum wage now, unless they provide exceptional service where it's actually justified. I don't get tipped for the exceptional work I do on a daily basis - why the f should you? And I sure don't get paid nearly enough for what I do. Society is just rotting exponentially more now, and I'm so fed up with it. It's particularly prevalent around here, and I can't wait to get out of this place, as you are stuck with extremely limited options where there isn't enough competition, lower standards, and where people just don't give a sh*t, unfortunately. Thankfully there are a few more options popping up, but I still can't wait to get the f out of this place. I was thinking of bringing lots of people here due to the work I do (potential of over 100 people rotating in and out over the course of time, could've been on a repeating basis), but yeah, not after this crap again. I first tried this place via DoorDash and loved it so much that I would do the door dash add on order. I can't remember what boba drinks I ordered via door dash but they were good enough for me to continue to order from them. What really got my attention was their soufflé pancakes! I was craving soufflé pancakes and wanted to do a DoorDash order but they are no longer listed :( I ended up driving to their actual location for the first time. It looks like they were renovating as their menus were not hung up. This might be why they are not on door dash currently. When I walked in they were pretty busy. It's a small shop and there were quite a few customers in there waiting for their orders. I was worried it would take a really long time since it was busy. But the employee said about 10-15 mins. That wasn't too bad. He also said they just made some soufflé pancakes too. I ordered the Oreo flavor this time and it was soooooo good. I,100% recommend their soufflé pancakes. They are a must try. The pancakes a soft and airy. Just trust me they are delicious. This is the only place that sells soufflé pancakes in the area that I know of. First let me say if you are complaining about a $6-$8 drink maybe you should not be eating out to begin with. Compared to other drink shops in this area they are in the same price ranges. This is a small mom and pop shop. Not a chain. They have rent and supplies they have to pay for and still make a living here in California. Support small businesses and don't give them a hard time for their pricing. With that being said our favorites are definitely the soufflé cakes and rolled ice creams. Went again to redeem the bogo offer I had earned, and ended up with 3! An-Me was super nice, I think she's the same lady who let me keep the messy drink that didn't seal all the way a few days ago. This time when I tried to redeem the bogo offer, their machine wasn't working so she wrote down my number and said she would just input it when it started working again. I absolutely disliked this place. I thought the workers were not attentive and unfriendly. I came here when they first opened and I got my eyes rolled at when I told the workers and manager it's quite expensive, years ago. It took a long time for them to make my rolled ice cream back then and now I still don't like the staff, even if they are probably different. The milk tea I got tasted like water. What a treat! This place is pretty awesome. They make the ice cream fresh. They use a super cooled metal surface to chop up your add ins then pour in the liquid ice cream mixture. It freezes on the table while they mix and knead it. Once it's almost solid they smooth it out very thin and the roll it up into small rolls and place it in the cup. We haven't been back in awhile and they now have a huge expanded menu of drinks and other goodies including the ever popular Japanese soufflé! My sister and I went in at 11:10 AM (10 minutes after opening) and when we tried to order the fresh fruit soufflé we were discouraged because it "wasn't good/not a popular item" per the employee. She then told us that it would be 30-40 minutes because they hadn't turned on the machine yet. I would think that would be something you do prior to opening the store in preparation for the day? I personally feel like she was trying to discourage us from buying it because we had the $2 off coupon. Anyway, we ended up ordering the salted cheese with boba soufflé and waited 30 minutes. Everything melted from picking it up to the short walk to the car because the soufflé was still hot. It was good, but nothing mind blowing.
