The French toast was good too. The omelette was delicious but they forgot the hash brown we ordered. It was quickly rectified when we reminded them. The large coffee I'm a mug was huge and good. I will definitely come back to try other things on their menu!

This is a very small cafe that gets very busy but if there's no tables available you can grab your food/drinks to go and sit at one of the gorgeous spots over the road overlooking the beach. Lovely staff that go out of their way to make you feel comfortable as well. Highly recommend this little gem of a cafe.

The cheesecake dessert was good, but not spectacular. Ignoring price, Salt put together a pretty good meal. Factoring in the price of admission, however, I expected a bit more than what I got. Coast is just a short distance away and may be a better option; they offer a similar style of cuisine for around the same price, but with more impressive results. Note that dinner is only available at the Salt Cafe on Friday and Saturday nights.

Some of them, such as the duck crepes with hoisin sauce, seemed carefully composed and thoughtfully presented. Others, however, seemed hastily thrown together without much consideration given to presentation or flavor. Still, it wasn't a bad experience, and they've got some decent dishes on the menu. Portion sizes are reasonable, and each dish costs around $8 to $9. At 2-3 dishes per person, you'll get a filling meal for around $20 each. Not a bad option for a quick lunch.

We had spicy fried pork ribs, French herbed lamb chops, coconut prawns, blue cheese mushrooms, soft shell crab and the most amazing duck and cucumber crepes. We also had the loveliest fresh squeezed juices. I had watermelon, pineapple, ginger and mint which was beyond yummy and my sister had apple, celery and ginger and it was so refreshing. We probably should have stopped there but decided on dessert. I had gluten free chocolate brownie that just melted in my mouth and sister had lemon meringue pie. Suffice to say we were completely full when we walked out the doors. Would recommend this tapas bar to groups of friends wanting good food and atmosphere, they also have a good cocktail and wine selection.
