I needed to do this anyway because I had quite the experience at the Willowbrook mall location, I went on Friday to pick up a product that I got an email was finished on Tuesday. I was not greeted by Sarah (who was "new" and the only one worked that night) I asked for my product (Mind you I live in Austin and just was stopping by to head to Port Arthur to give my mother this gift) She told me my product was not there, she raised her voice at me. Told me to stop talking, told me to hush, and told me to get out and of course at this point I had an attitude. I asked someone there if I was the one who was wrong in this situation and she told me no, I called my brother to calm me down. And Sarah was on the phone with security and she told security that I chased her around the store (I don't have the time to chase no one) so I waited for security and told him the situation and she lied to him about the situation anyway enough about her, because when I went back the next day I spoke with one of the managers and her name was Michelle, and thank God for her because she was so nice, so helpful so apologetic and I was reimbursed, got my mothers gift (WHICH WAS IN THE BACK WHERE GIFTS ARE) as well as something for myself. So if it was not for Michelle and Samantha (who is another manger) I would have left the worse review. How can someone like Sarah have a job where her task is to help people and come to find out she also told someone else to get out after me. So not only does she treat people with no respect, but she is entitled. But I just want to sing my praises to MICHELLE AND SAMANTHA because these are the people who know how to treat someone, these are the people who keep a business running and successful and for that I am satisfied. read more

This company does not even deserve a rating. Services are unreliable no matter the lead time given for a product to be completed, and staff have no authority to resolve issues. My event is ruined due to this service failure and I have no time to fix their failure. read more

This is a horrible location. Maybe it's just this store idk. Let me start with saying they leave their phone off the hook so they done answer!!! I ordered a glass for my boss and when I picked it up it was the wrong color, wrong Font, wrong font size just nothing of what I ordered, and when I asked why they changed my order WITHOUT ASKING ME they lady said "idk I guess they just didn't read the order paperwork " like it was no big deal. So annoying!! Never going back. I was able to get my money back after they made me call customer service for their mistake!!! read more

Lazy, unattentive staff. I spent 200+ on my order there . Placed it October 22, the items arrived October 31. Fast forward a week, I have to call them to see if it was ready. the engraver wasn't sure about the lettering so what do they do? They assume without verification and proceed to messing up the gift. My phone number was on the order form , they could have called me to come in to check it . Now I'm stuck without the gift and out money. This was for a friend of mine separating from military service and you don't mess up someone's rank. I guess what I'm saying is, This could have been avoided if: 1 Someone called me if there was any question about the capitalizations or spelling. 2 Someone called me as soon as the order was ready Do not go here, they don't care enough to call to ask if your order is right or to even let you know it's ready. -- Update : Debbie, the district manager helped a lot. ( I'm still leaving it at 1 star for the location, overall corporate seems to care more than the satellite locations ) Can't say much for the staff at the brick and mortar location though. . read more

Things Remembered is blessed with the talents of one of their salespersons Gigi! i walked in not sure of what to get and Gigi immediately asked if i needed some help. she helped navigate the store with me and after i told her that i lost my best friend and was buying gifts for his mother and sisters she showed the upmost respect and was totally sympathetic to the situation. She was extremely helpful- truly an amazing saleswoman who helped me purchase meaningful gifts. Thanks Gigi!!! read more

Do not, I repeat DO NOT shop here. Went in to get a gift for the wife for Christmas and was told the item I wanted to purchase was the last one in stock (floor model). It looked like it would do, but when asked if I would receive any sort of discount, they replied "no, we don't adjust prices, because it is your choice to buy it". No calls to other stores, no let me see what I can do, just a snotty attitude and lack of care and respect for their customer. I'll gladly find somewhere else to shop for the same gift :/ read more

Made a purchase of $50+ just to have my order messed up. An inconvenience to drive back and get it fixed, was not given an apology nor a discount. Staff was highly unprofessional. Disappointed in my experience with things remembered. Was a reoccurring costumer, never will I come here again. DO NOT SHOP HERE read more

I bought two items elsewhere (items not carried by the store), and needed a single word on one and two initials on the other. I checked the website for info on pricing, which led me to believe it would be under $20, which seemed very reasonable (*they have now updated the site with more accurate pricing). It ended up costing more than twice that amount, which I wasn't told until the work was done. My bad - should have gotten a quote first. My real issue was the lousy service and quality. When I entered the store, there were two employees behind the counter. They chatted with each other as if I wasn't there, including walking back and forth past me several times without even a simple "we will be with you in a moment." One woman left, and I was finally greeted by the other employee, only to be told that the one who had just walked away was the only one who could help me, and she was 'taking a break.' I had to wait another 15 minutes for her return, then another few minutes while she checked her phone, paced back and forth, etc. if I hadn't waited for the last minute to get this gift engraved, I would have left. In the meantime, the other employee just stood there staring into space like someone had pushed her 'off' button. When employee 2 finally helped me, her demeanor exuded boredom and annoyance. I was told it would take 2 hours to do my very small engravings (though there was nothing else being engraved and no other customers). I asked them to call me when it was complete. An hour later, after having my fill of wandering the mall, I checked in to see if it might be done early. Sure enough, it was - no call. I had to unpackaged the items to check them, and found that one of the initials had been engraved crooked. Nothing I could do about it at that point, and I wasn't even offered an apology when I pointed it out. I'm giving two stars, since I WAS able to get the engraving done the same day. I will go to a jewelry store if I ever need engraving again. read more

The ONLY reason this place gets three stars is because of their 5-star saleswoman Gabriella. We spent a very frustrating time with an older woman who is the main engraver there, but due to lack of staff was working in sales. She gave us attitude for so long about something that Gabriella ended up fixing in 30 seconds. So, here's a piece of advice to you, TR: hire more people like Gabriella, and leave engravers in the back if they're going to be miserable at the front counter! read more

I shopped last minute for my son's graduation gift and my girlfriend suggested that I go to Things Remembered and get him an engraved gift. I thought there was no way I could get it back in time, but I went by the store to check it out. The store was very busy because it was Mother's day weekend. I was able to get my gift and have it engraved in 2 hours with the help of Sarah. She was so helpful and talked me into getting something for my mom while I was there because they were having a 50% off the second gift sale. I definitely recommend this store. Very efficient, a little expense, but well worth it. My mom and son loved their gifts! read more

I am a last minute shopper big time I tried to avoid it this year but hey there were a few things I waited the last minute for. Of course the malls were crazy and I always make an annual trip to Things Remembered in Willowbrook Mall. This place is pretty neat it has anything from ID badges, necklaces to pretty nice looking clocks and items for your work/home desks all under $50.00. The really cool part is that you're able to engrave a name or a special message, I was impressed how organized Things Remembered was. I thought I would spend at least an hour of my day trying to pick something out then pay but I was really surprised how quickly I was attended to and how friendly the staff was during all the madness. After 20 to 30 minutes I was off and even during the holidays my father's gift would be engraved and ready by the next day. I show up the next day with receipt in hand and I pick up my item in less than 10 minutes you can't beat that! I was really impressed and happy with this place you should check it out! read more

I started to not go to Things Remembered because of the reviews but I'm glad I did. I needed a last minute gift for my granddaughters baptism and ended up getting something for her birthday also. The salesman was great. We went in at 7 pm and picked out the gifts by 7:15. We needed them engraved and they had them finished at 8:30. They were perfect. I will be back. read more

Really bad customer service ! I have been shopping with this store when I lived in AZ, and now in Texas. I had a very very horrible experience about the store at this mall. The sale price sticker was put next to the original price ON the item. And when they came up with my total, I showed them that it was on sale. Then the sale lady just came and take out the sale tag and told me they SHOULD TAKE the sale tag down TWO DAYS AGO. What the ??? are u serious ? It was not just only one item but most BABY Items had have Sale Price stickers on while I was walking in . And they just took the sale stickers off in front of me right after I told them ThE sale price was on 'em. The CEO of this company should watch the show called " under cover boss " to come and fix this store please please please . I'm NOT going to be back. NEVER AGAIN. Will tell my folks about this. Really bad customer service. No wonder why this store has bad reviews. If I could give this store half of one star, I would . read more

My husband and I went here recently for early Christmas shopping. We didn't mind having to wait Two long weeks, because the manager claim they had to come from the warehouse. We pursued two nfl glass mugs. They came back exactly two weeks after ordering them. My hubby wasn't happy how the glasses didn't look like the display. The manager who says her name was Sarah. Said she would give our money back. I told my husband we waited two weeks for two glasses let's just take the lost and never come back to this location. As soon as were walking out the store after I told my hubby this. The manager Sarah said under her breathe "right, go somewhere else". I was in shock and told her she needs to learn customer service. Cause she didn't give us good service. She gave us dirty glasses when we came to pick them up. I told her to clean them and she cleaned it with Windex! On the back of the receipt it says they will make sure they do everything to make sure your pleased. And Sarah didn't do anything but be rude. I like the store, but some employees are the worst. read more

I normally go to Things Remembered in The Woodlands, but lately the store is a mess and disorganized and their engraving takes too long. I went in the week before Christmas and they couldn't have a simple wallet engraved until after Christmas, so I took it to the Willowbrook location and they had it for me the next day even though they seemed busier than the Woodlands location! I just went again to Willowbrook to get a Valentine's Day gift. The assistant manager Sam was amazing. He was so friendly and helpful in helping me choose the perfect gift for my husband. Gabriella was busy on the engraver, but she took time away from her piles of engraving to assist me by telling me how my message would look the best on the pocket watch I was purchasing. Sarah, the store manager was balancing between several customers but still managed to make sure my buying process was going well. I am so impressed by this team, as busy as they were, they were patient with my indecisiveness. Definitely recommend! read more
