We came here for weekday lunch and sat outside, so I can't say much about dinner or the inside of the restaurant. If you only have one hour for lunch altogether (including the walk from and to the office), then you won't be disappointed with Thessaloniki. The service must be one of the fastest that I have experienced in Munich, with order-to-table done within 15 minutes. The outside seating area is spacious and pleasant even though it's situated on a corner of a somewhat busy street.
Our lunch experience was in general ok. The lunch menu is limited with one veggie (it was pasta with vegetable and feta cheese), one meat (turkey with sauce and side of rice), one seafood (grilled calamari), and gyros dishes. Prices are on the higher side for lunch specials (around 8-9€ for one of these dishes), and taste-wise (we tried all except the gyros), it was on par but nothing spectacular. The staff did offer us ouzo on the house, but we opted out since it was a workday lunch.
This restaurant is located in a business area of Munich, and for those who are working in the area, this is a convenient option for a quick lunch. Otherwise, unless you are staying in this area, there's no need to make the trek for a meal here. read more
