It took a few tries to find a massage therapist at this practice that could provide the deep tissue…read morepressure I need, but I did eventually and have been happy with the services received since from that specific therapist. However one thing you should know if planning to come here, is that they regularly increase their rates - going from $110 to $118 to $125 per hour for massage services in less than the 18 months I've been coming here. Now keep in mind, I understand inflation, increased costs, etc... So its not the price increases I have as much issue with (although the frequency seems extreme especially given the fact my insurance coverage hasn't increased in that time)... My main issue is the fact that they increase their prices with ZERO communication being sent out. So one month the price is one thing and then you come in for another scheduled appointment and suddenly they start charging you a higher rate without a word of mention. It wasn't until after I tapped my card for payment that I noticed the increase. In what world is it not standard practice to inform customers - especially if they have services booked - that the prices are increasing? A simple email would solve this problem but instead they just assume all is well and leave it to the admins at the front desk who have to deal with explaining it after the fact? Lucky for this place I like my current massage therapist - because their ethical business administration practices are seriously lacking.

I've had two massages by Roxanne. Most recently my main concern was a tight and painful neck I've…read morebeen struggling with for months. She worked on it with a combination of hot stones, her hands and other tools - tuning forks, different bells that are new to me - and for the first time in ages it is pain free and I have full range of motion back. If you're used to "traditional" Swedish or other massages, some of what Roxanne does will be unfamiliar and seem a bit strange. If you can trust that she knows what she's doing (which she does) and experience it, at the very least you will have tried something new but likely, you will feel the benefit. If you don't want those things however - just tell her! She listens well and constantly seeks education on new techniques and healing massage therapy approaches. She also checks in throughput the session to make sure the pressure and other aspects are comfortable and acceptable. Besides that she is kind and generous with her time and knowledge. Her studio is comforting and cozy too. I can't wait to go back.

This place was a good value. But I wouldn't return…read more On our visit the spa was way overbooked, noisy, and not as clean as I would have preferred. There were several large groups chatting away and moving in unison, which made it really tough to find a spot in the sauna or cold plunge. The front desk also didn't adequately explain spa courtesy so people were not showering and rinsing prior to participating. I think it would also help to have attendants cleaning more frequently to prevent hair and other flatsom from building up in the shower, the floors, the cold plunge, etc.

I was disappointed at how my appointment was handled by one of the staff, who interrupted my conversation with the receptionist (the other staff). While cancelling my appointment (which was booked in advance) no efforts were made to reschedule or provide alternative masseuse/masseur... not to mention "we are sorry , it did not work out today". Staff was _rude_ outright (while smiling at you). Management was not interested in my feedback (post-event): was not listening, interrupting, and trying to "sell me" their busyness model: billing structure and bottom line, instead. yowza ! way to go ...
