They came out, looked at the house and made some recommendations which were the same as the energy efficiency people made. A little fiberglass, a little spraying of cellulose into walls that had nothing but bags of seaweed ( okay, I am not from Nova Scotia ) and the house is so much warmer. I have been involved with the trades for almost thirty years and can highly recommend this company to anyone. We had them do blown in insulation on both our house and garage, new builds. They are terrible at…read morescheduling and showing up when they should. Their employees throw LIT cigarettes on the ground (dry conditions and we are surrounded by a Tree Farm, as well as it is littering). BIGGEST problem is that they rushed and neglected to protect our property from the spray foam, which is not removable. They were informed of everything they needed to be informed of. When time came to answer to their mistakes Danny, the owner, instead chose to sick his lawyer on our builder for payment of a bill that was not yet due (30 day term), as well as threaten us with a builder lien. We had already done our responsible part and we sent him payment for his bill LESS the damages due to his negligence. Danny was on the job when it was being sprayed. My new concrete floor and a whole 12"edge of our finished plywood ceiling in our garage was covered with their purple spray, ruined to us as this was a finished product. This was over 10,000.00 in damages and Danny chose to not work at all with us, even though we were already taking several thousand loss already, and instead send his lawyer. Apparently, we must have been in the right because Danny did settle. He made his lawyer richer and us poorer and his reputation poorer than all. He is NOT a stand up guy AT all when it comes to covering his company mistakes. IF you still decide to hire them make sure you hold payment for as long as you can, terms on his invoice. I had several people able to guess, without my saying anything, who had done it. Would not even give this one star if I had the chance.
