I think there are 3 good PTs here and Elizabeth is definitely one of them. Seriously, Elizabeth is amazing. I would only go to her. Only. The management really needs to do something about the younger therapists and front staff. It's bothersome. They're arrogant and if they don't want to be there they don't need to be. It ruins everything there. I see them work with people and they are not happy. This review would be 5 for Elizabeth. Front desk staff ruins it.

Suddenly, for no knowable reason whatsoever, my leg just locked up and wouldn't bend or straighten. Oh, and it hurt like hizzle. Heartland Rehab in Riverside saved my life! Or my leg. Either/or! Both! I was prescribed one month of physical therapy to fix my bum leg, and fix it they did. Before I started PT someone told me how nice PT could be... you get messaged, people fawn all over you, making your problems their problems. For one little hour you don't have to worry about things while these wonderful therapists worry for you. I had Ronata as my therapist and she was great. She taught me all kinds of exercises to strengthen my knee, she told me jokes, she gave my knee some amazing massages [best part about PT, hands down] AND she even prescribed me to have my husband give me massages every night. HA! Take that husband. It is a prescription. You have to do it! The facilities are nice with a view of the St. Johns River. You can continue to use their gym even after your PT is over for a membership fee, if you so please. I haven't tried that myself, already being a member of the YMCA, but I think it would be a great choice for someone recovering from an injury.

I thought I was coming to her for "fitness pilates" but in fact that is not what I needed or wanted. With her keen eye, intuition, and experience she has identified ways in which my body was compensating that really could have developed into major issues when I get older. I am so happy to be working on them now with her to prevent long term issues. All while still developing muscle and definition that pilates naturally brings. Anna provides exceptional instruction, in that she gives wonderful cues and explains the movements incredibly well. I have done pilates before coming to Anna, but she goes the extra mile with helping me to understand exactly how to do the movement. The way she corrects me is one of things I value the most about her. I can do pilates at home, but I know I will be doing a lot of things wrong. With her I can learn how my body is unconsciously compensating for certain weaknesses or ingrained movements, i.e., gripping my glutes, using one leg more than the other, tucking my pelvis, flaring my ribs, etc. In learning these I can feel more confident in my ability to do home workout's when I do have the opportunity to do them. I have also worked with Sonja and Lynn before Anna and I can say that they are exceptional as well and I look forward to working with them when Anna is not available. Everyone at Synergy Studio is warm and welcoming. Kim will greet you with the biggest smile when you walk in. I am not one of those people who just love to work out, but going to the studio is one of my favorite times of the day.

I've been evaluated all of my 52 years by neurologists, physical therapists, neuromuscular therapists, etc. for my Spastic Cerebral Palsy of one leg and spinal nerve due to a birth accident. Waiting to be called back is about the same as before but once your back in one of the rooms things tend to go quicker. I came back to see Chris Le, Dr. Pavel's PA for my low back pain. I tried to hold out for as long as I could but I needed to be reassessed for lumbar ablation. Also I like Chris because he's personable. He put me down for an updated MRI, the ablation, and some meds in the meantime. Checking out was simple as well. You end up on the backside of the receptionist area and they are the ones who will schedule your future appointments and I was able to fill out paperwork for the MRI place ahead of time to save time later. Here's hoping that they can help my pain levels decrease.

I've been going for a little for my herniated disc, but they keep canceling my appointments without…read morerescheduling them. They didn't inform me that my appointment was canceled. I drove all the way there just for them to tell me hey we can't do it because our systems aren't up, they didn't even try to reschedule that after their systems got back up. I've been dealing with this pain for a little bit and the fact that I can't get seen or even rescheduled properly is very irritating.

I was very impressed with Dr. Braun's knowledge and ability to analyze my injury and movement. She also possesses an excellent manner, listening intently and asking follow-up questions for clarity. She is funny, patient, and kind but will dole out the tough love when you come in and confess you did not do your exercises. After many weeks of work, we were able to get my injury to a place where I could manage it myself, know the danger signs of re-injury, and what do to and not do. I now have a toolbox of exercises and stretches that I'm confident will keep me moving in the future. Especially if you are an athletic person, Dr. Braun is your best choice. I've been to many PTs and they've run the gamut - some just treat a patient by the book. Your ankle hurts? Here are 5 exercises to do. Ice it. Etc. Some are more thoughtful and want to get to the source of the problem and help you resolve it but also avoid future problems. Dr. Braun falls into the latter category. Also you might get to meet her dog Abby. 10/10 would pet again.

I was so tired of going places to have a deep tissue therapeutic massage and instead being given a glorified Swedish (relaxation) massage for barely 50 minutes out of a hour appointment. Luba offers Ashiatsu massages where she can deliver greater pressure to the muscle groups, and she does so for the full appointment time and at fair prices. One thing I really like about Luba's technique and professionalism is that if she comes across a real sore spot will she do some extra focus time on that area so you can have some therapeutic gain.
