I had the most relaxing 2-hour massage from Tranquil Balance. I was welcomed into a quaint check-in…read morearea by Jen. She ushered me into a sitting area with a comfy recliner to discuss my history, concerns, and desires. Once we discussed what I wanted from the experience, I was guided to the changing area to disrobe and prepare for my session. The massage room was nicely decorated in calm colors, and the massage table and linens were extremely comfortable. As for the massage itself, Jen provided me with a wonderful massage complete with non-greasy massage lotion and hot towels. I didn't really have any complaints about the whole experience. However, something to note is that you will hear the occasional bark from the pet palor next door. It didn't distract me from the experience. I'll definitely be back. Check out their Groupon offers.

What a great place to get a massage! While I had heard of this franchise when I lived in Chicago,…read moreI hadn't had a chance to check them out until the other night. With plenty of appointments, hours that are conducive to my schedule, and friendly staff that make sure you are comfortable throughout your entire treatment, Massage Envy does it right. My therapist was Ashley A. and she was great! She took the time to understand what brought me in for a massage, and then spent the next hour working on my pain. I walked out a new person with the knowledge that I would be back. The other cool thing that Massage Envy does is that you can sign up for their monthly massage package which basically gives you a massage at $59.99 each month (a great deal!) My introductory massage was only $49.99 which is about half the price I was paying in Chicago. The place is clean, I like the waiting area (the fake fireplace was really not needed given it was 100 out but it set a nice tone) and there is plenty of free parking given it is in a strip mall. If you are looking for a great massage in the Topeka area, look no further. Massage Envy has it all!

I had the Sinus/Head Massage with Ear Candling one time, which was super relaxing. Opened my sinuses up where I could breathe better. It was very interesting to see the amount of wax the ear candling produces. The other procedure I had done was the detoxing foot bath with the exfoliating foot treatment, which both were excellent. The warm foot bath that detoxified your body was not only relaxing, but also interesting to see all of the toxins that were released. The exfoliating foot treatment was so relaxing and rejuvenating!
