I love that this studio is near home, and I can easily visit other small businesses afterwards too…read more It is small but I have enjoyed the classes and instructors I have taken here. I attended while they were in their transition period. However, I believe their foundation and class format is same. I did pretty much all the classes as a regular with Kayla- yoga flows, sculpts, hot yogas, sound baths, and the musical meditations where they bring in live performers to play instruments, Kayla singing! The community is fabulous. I felt comfortable and welcomed by Kayla, the owner. I love all her classes. She does the best guided meditations. Music is also fantastic and instrumental which is projected from a speaker and travels through the room great. Music and guided meditation transitions are fabulous! During the cooldown, you are delivered cool towels to put on your face or wherever on your body. Experience- From going through very stressful times, this yoga studio was my place to escape and I left every class more healed, and positive. It was a drive to get here from my location but worth it. I can't find any yoga studio like this. They are one of a kind. It's family oriented, friendly, welcoming, small-medium sized. Every time I came I was greeted by the coolest girl at the front desk- I think her name is Jordan, J name like me! She was helping out with the studio:) (Sorry we lost in touch, reach out to me if you ever see this to get some coffee! I looked out for you many times at the desk/ yoga classes but never saw you again!) Setting- The studio had a dojo, oasis feel to it. When you enter the most commonly used room, there is usually candle lights on the floor and beautiful projector lights like speckled stars on the ceiling. I love it. I LOVE the steam room. I could stay there for hours. Hygiene is on point. 100/100 recommend. I miss this studio and wish to come back though I'm not in the area long enough. The classes and coming to them helped me go through a low point in my life. I thanked myself every time I came.

I've been wanting to write this review because I think I speak for many of Laura's long-time…read morestudents. I started attending Bikram Yoga back when Vern owned the studio--may he rest in peace. I came back in February 2026 and feel better and have lost 18 pounds! :) I recently read a negative review criticizing Laura for occasionally going off-topic during class and talking about real-life issues. My response is this: let's not be so quick to judge. None of us are perfect, and we're all real people dealing with real emotions and life experiences. When Laura says things like "monkey see, monkey do," I know exactly what she means. Many of us will see someone sit down or lie down during class and think, "Maybe I'll take a break too." I know I have. She's simply encouraging us to push through mental barriers and stay focused on our practice. What many people don't see is the amount of time and energy Laura invests in her students, especially new ones. I regularly see her stay after class to help students improve their poses, answer questions, and encourage them to reach their full potential. She is passionate about helping people succeed, not just in yoga but in life. What stands out to me most is how she connects with people on an emotional level. Many students come to her studio as a last resort after living with chronic pain, physical limitations, or frustration from not finding relief elsewhere. Laura genuinely cares about those people. She listens, encourages, and helps them believe that improvement is possible. That kind of dedication is rare. For me, Bikram Yoga has been incredibly healing, both physically and mentally. A lot of it is mindset, "you take what helps you, learn from it, and build on it". Don't let a few words that may have been taken out of context define Laura or her business. Life is what you make it, and I choose to view every class as a stepping stone toward a healthier, longer life. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I believe it's important to be kind and fair when sharing it. That's just my two cents. Laura has helped many people over the years, and I am grateful to be one of them.

I am sorry but I had an unexpected experience here. It was my 2nd Bikram Yoga class and Laura was…read morethe instructor. My first session with the other instructor went well. While Laura was instructing, I felt like she was talking about many unnecessary topics like how yoga is not their only profession and how it doesn't really pay well. I don't know how it's relevant to us? She also told a fellow student that I was copying her yoga moves and mentioned "monkey sees, monkey does" something like that. While I wasn't really copying anyone. She also mentioned that I was anxious during the session while I wasn't really anxious. I was just trying to put efforts. I don't understand how can someone "encourage " a student like that during their initial sessions. What's the issue even if someone is looking anxious? Yoga should be a pleasant experience for newcomers and not feel like walking on a tight rope. I thought it was just me but I found other 1 star reviews here concerning her on similar issues. I don't feel comfortable going back even though I paid for an entire month. Sorry but please treat your new students with extra care and encouragement. Good luck!

This is a lovely, quaint Pilates studio for all skill levels, the instructors are very kind and knowledgeable. Since the classes, I've noticed a much leaner physique, muscles in my legs and core, more energy. The classes are so fun and every instructor brings different styles, there are English, mandarin, Korean speaking instructors. If you're looking for a great workout in a pretty setting, this place is highly recommended

While I unfortunately don't think I can come back here any time soon (each class they have is 15+ credits), I enjoyed my class with Hanna so much that I wanted to write her a good review. When I walked in, someone at the front desk checked me in right away and she had a warm personality! Very inviting. She shared with me that we leave our shoes by the door, then we walk down the hallway to our class. I noticed that the floor was a little dusty as we walked past the other rooms for aerial yoga and for private classes. The Pilates class room itself is clean and designed well. There was plenty of space between one reformer and the next. Hanna explained all the instructions clearly and she had good pacing. She made sure that our form was correct throughout. It was nice that there were only three of us during my class so it felt like we were getting more attention. I also appreciated how encouraging she was and the music selection on the background made the entire time pass by like a breeze. My feedback would be about the reformer machines themselves. The reformer machines felt a little cheap just because the ropes would make this sound while we would be pushing to get resistance that I haven't heard from other Pilates studio machines. I saw some fraying on my ropes specifically. The platform also felt more narrow than the average. I was still able to do the exercises but as a 5'3 girly, I felt like I had the longest legs in the world. Overall, I'm glad that there is another Pilates studio near me that has dedicated parking and talented instructors. I hope they consider checking the machines every now and then for wear and tear but other than that, I had a wonderful time!

She's super nice and very clear in communicating the poses so it's easy to follow along. The studio space is on the smaller side so classes are more intimate, which is nice. There are no mirrors on the walls however - I wish they had them because then I can see if my form is correct. It's located in the center of a shopping center, with the door facing off to the side, so it's a bit tricky to find. It took me a while to locate it the first time I went. There's plenty of parking available, and Tierra Mia is at the end of the shopping center, so you can get yourself a treat after class like I did!
