I attended while they were in their transition period. However, I believe their foundation and class format is same. I did pretty much all the classes as a regular with Kayla- yoga flows, sculpts, hot yogas, sound baths, and the musical meditations where they bring in live performers to play instruments, Kayla singing! The community is fabulous. I felt comfortable and welcomed by Kayla, the owner. I love all her classes. She does the best guided meditations. Music is also fantastic and instrumental which is projected from a speaker and travels through the room great. Music and guided meditation transitions are fabulous! During the cooldown, you are delivered cool towels to put on your face or wherever on your body. Experience- From going through very stressful times, this yoga studio was my place to escape and I left every class more healed, and positive. It was a drive to get here from my location but worth it. I can't find any yoga studio like this. They are one of a kind. It's family oriented, friendly, welcoming, small-medium sized. Every time I came I was greeted by the coolest girl at the front desk- I think her name is Jordan, J name like me! She was helping out with the studio:) (Sorry we lost in touch, reach out to me if you ever see this to get some coffee! I looked out for you many times at the desk/ yoga classes but never saw you again!) Setting- The studio had a dojo, oasis feel to it. When you enter the most commonly used room, there is usually candle lights on the floor and beautiful projector lights like speckled stars on the ceiling. I love it. I LOVE the steam room. I could stay there for hours. Hygiene is on point. 100/100 recommend. I miss this studio and wish to come back though I'm not in the area long enough. The classes and coming to them helped me go through a low point in my life. I thanked myself every time I came.

I love how she not only focuses on the athleticism of yoga but also the mind, soul and heart of the yoga practice. This is a safe space for you to come and practice your yoga, mindfulness, peace, and healing. Just bring yourself. Not a place to compete with anyone. Just come and enjoy being you.

Come here mainly for pole via Classpass but haven't been back because it's been costing over 15+…read morecredits, but I love Ruby the instructor so wanted to give her her flowers in this review. Story time - I've taken a class once elsewhere, it was my first class in a long time and that instructor basically just left me out in the cold as she tended to her more experienced students, chatting and cackling away with them as she gave me random conditioning exercises to do. I felt very alone (and also out of shape) that I was too scared to ever go back to another pole class. Two years later I decide to take a class with Ruby and that was completely night and day. Everyone in the class was so sweet and encouraging and even though I was new and inexperienced, Ruby gently reminded me that everyone always start somewhere and that we should always be proud of our progress, big or small. So if you ever want to try pole, Ruby is an excellent instructor to get you started. She's so talented and really cares about her students and their success and I feel very lucky to get to learn from her.

While I unfortunately don't think I can come back here any time soon (each class they have is 15+ credits), I enjoyed my class with Hanna so much that I wanted to write her a good review. When I walked in, someone at the front desk checked me in right away and she had a warm personality! Very inviting. She shared with me that we leave our shoes by the door, then we walk down the hallway to our class. I noticed that the floor was a little dusty as we walked past the other rooms for aerial yoga and for private classes. The Pilates class room itself is clean and designed well. There was plenty of space between one reformer and the next. Hanna explained all the instructions clearly and she had good pacing. She made sure that our form was correct throughout. It was nice that there were only three of us during my class so it felt like we were getting more attention. I also appreciated how encouraging she was and the music selection on the background made the entire time pass by like a breeze. My feedback would be about the reformer machines themselves. The reformer machines felt a little cheap just because the ropes would make this sound while we would be pushing to get resistance that I haven't heard from other Pilates studio machines. I saw some fraying on my ropes specifically. The platform also felt more narrow than the average. I was still able to do the exercises but as a 5'3 girly, I felt like I had the longest legs in the world. Overall, I'm glad that there is another Pilates studio near me that has dedicated parking and talented instructors. I hope they consider checking the machines every now and then for wear and tear but other than that, I had a wonderful time!

I highly recommend getting a monthly membership, especially if you plan on going more than once weekly. It is very affordable compared to other studios. Plus, you can go Filipino grocery shopping or food hopping at the plaza across the street after class! The teachers are great instructors and the owner, Jessica, is excellent at describing how to move your body. For yoga beginners, this is especially important because we don't come in knowing the names of poses--though the classes are adaptable for all skill levels.

She's super nice and very clear in communicating the poses so it's easy to follow along. The studio space is on the smaller side so classes are more intimate, which is nice. There are no mirrors on the walls however - I wish they had them because then I can see if my form is correct. It's located in the center of a shopping center, with the door facing off to the side, so it's a bit tricky to find. It took me a while to locate it the first time I went. There's plenty of parking available, and Tierra Mia is at the end of the shopping center, so you can get yourself a treat after class like I did!
