My daughter went for a spray tan, wanting to look good for her sister's wedding. The results were awful with whole areas of her arms and legs left untanned and the palms of her hands dark brown. She had not been familiar with having a spray tan so didn't know that there was anything wrong as it was being done but when she explained her experience to family and friends we knew there were several things not as they should be. They didn't put any cream on her hands to prevent the spray from going onto the palms but worse than that, when the tanning equipment failed to work properly and deposited blobs of liquid onto her shoulders she was told to smooth it out with her hands. The equipment blocked several times and had to be taken apart. The next day when she showered, as instructed, after the tan had developed we could see all the white areas in addition to the dark brown palms so I went back to the salon with her to show them. They refused to accept that anything was wrong, saying that elbows are supposed to be white on brown arms. They said their therapist was professionally qualified and refused to offer a refund. We would advise anyone to avoid this salon. read more
