You can still catch a $3.50 movie, but only classics, and only a few are ever offered. I loved having a true cheap seats theater in town (as any good town should) where you could see a new movie for less just by waiting a bit longer. It's truly a shame. You might as well pay a few extra bucks and go to Century. I will still go occasionally, but I guarantee I will spend FAR less money there now at $7 than I would have at $3.50. Inside, however, there are photographs of previous years' designs, which gave us a greater appreciation for the creativity and craftsmanship that goes into creating the murals each year. Overall, it's a unique stop that doesn't take much time to visit and is worth checking out if you're passing through the area.
