I knew from friends who attended that membership was nothing to take lightly. The first 10 weeks consisted of a challenge among attendees, with one person taking home a $1000 check. There was a weekly meal plan that was encouraged and turned in for review along with coaching on the physical exercises which were completed in 45 min workouts 6 days per week. I found the workouts challenging from the start, but always wanted to go back for more. The classes were offered at a variety of times throughout the day and members were welcome to join in with whichever time worked best for their day. After the first 10 weeks, you are considered a FIT member and are encouraged to continue to make progress towards personal goals. The owners, instructors, coaches, and fellow FIT teammates treat each other like family. There are social events, a Facebook page, and notes of encouragement that bring people together with a common purpose and keep them connected. During the current COVID 19 outbreak, our Farrell's family has been particularly interested in being of support. Tireless efforts have been put into an online format so that members can continue their hard work and progress during a period of social distancing. Resources were delivered to the door of members who ordered bags and bands to continue workouts while the gym itself was closed. It is truly a special place where everyone is welcome to get their own start at a new outlook on life, living at Level 10.

Ladies, Allow me to share with you the reasons why I love Uplift Guide Fitness:…read more 1. I feel safe and comfortable -around only ladies! (Never felt like that in mixed gyms before) 2. The trainers are super! Always assisting me, making sure that I do exercises in the right form no only to avoid injuries, but also to get results- one day Chris watched me doing a exercise with weights and she corrected by posture by a couple inches and BAM! What a difference!! -sore for 3 days! But results within 2 weeks!! Yah me!!! Trainers are literaly 'super trained" and accessible when I have questions! They always explain with clarity what is expected from each exercise and the way that it works in specific muscles, including the right weight, pace, and "very important" -control over the movement! And believe me! If you do exactly that they guide you to do --You will see results in not time! 3. The classes!! -they are fantastic! I love all the classes but -yoga, barre, or cardio classes are my favorites, they have taken my weight training to the next level. There are so many to choose from! The instructors are fun and passionate! they don't motivate, they inspire! 4 .The weight training programs -I love that my routines change, I never bore! I may sometimes modify the weight or the number repetitions but focus on the good form and then -BAM again!! my body changes too!! Trainers teach me the whole routine for the first time and record my profile. They help me to track my progress and create realistic goals. 5. Motivation -I am not only surrounded by excellent trainers, but also by strong ladies. I have witness the transformation of many ladies. I know where they started at and where they are at now with their fitness! It helps to see committed ladies working out so hard and watching their progress -and that they notice mine too! At other gym that I used to go, I was intimidated by the trainer, or other users - not here! I look forwards to go! I have a gym ready bag with me all the time! That's not all; Uplift has incredible challenges with prizes! (Although, the ultimate best price ever is the results -and finally fit in those jeans). 6. The facilities are super clean, and the fitness room is "state of the art" with "on demand" classes to accommodate my schedule! There is a big screen with a projector and I can select the class that I want to do and the duration at my convenience! 7. Uplift is 24 hours! For a couple months during the winter, I worked all day ! But I was going to the gym super early or after hours and get me work out done! -hours of operations are never a problem. 8. I never have to wait for machines or equipment! Uplift has enough of everything! I have my working out buddy and we both do the same routines when we are together. Yes!! Get a friend to go work out with you!! This makes every " burn" look super fun!! I have been a client from Uplift for over 6 months and now my body ask to be taken to the gym! and I can only put 5 stars to recommend this gym here, but it truly deserves 10.

It's a smaller gym, but the guidance is helpful in getting on track. There are classes such as yoga, tabata, and others to help you along. But I prefer this gym over places like the Y because of the supportive atmosphere and no little kids playing on gym equipment. It's truly geared towards women which is nice.

Here's why: -Coach John set me up for success. He pushed me to work hard, but never asked me to do anything dangerous or inappropriate for my skill level. His expertise seems to be a bottomless pit. I trust him to communicate with clarity and respect. -On Ramp was good value for my money. The price seemed steep at first, but the amount of quality personalized instruction I got was worth way more than I paid. Had I spent the same amount on a personal trainer at my neighborhood gym, it would have been far less instruction time. -They welcomed me like a friend. The staff takes a personal interest in all members and guests. They introduce members to each other. They ask for feedback. Nobody is just a customer. -The crowd is genuinely supportive and unpretentious. You will not find any walking CrossFit stereotypes here. No preening, judgmental, meatheaded cartoons either. -I am definitely getting stronger. And yes, I know it is not unusual to get good results when you change things up and get some coaching, regardless of your fitness program. But why not do this in a reliably positive environment if you can? -The women's locker room is terrific. Spotlessly clean, minimalist and airy, lighting good enough for subtle makeup application...this makes it so much better than many cluttered and so-called luxurious locker rooms I have used. For serious, come give CrossFit Slipstream a try. It's likely you will know if it is right for you before your introductory session is over, and you will get a safe workout customized to your fitness and skill level.
