There is nothing quite like CrossFit and I love it. I have been a member at Lifetime Fitness, the YMCA, LA Fitness and the Community Center, so this rating comes from someone who has gym hopped. The beauty about CrossFit is everything is scalable. There is a sense of camaraderie that you don't get at other gyms. There are people that come from 30-40 minutes away because it's so unique. Jake, the owner, and the other trainers are excellent at what they do and fun challenges keep everyone on their toes and striving to do their best (while keeping form). I highly recommend giving it a try - the results have been nothing short of incredible. The only downside is that it's a bit spendy - but it's cheaper & just as good as having a personal trainer!! read more

I have been crossfitting for over a year at White Bear CrossFit. I love it! At first, I was intimidated by all the equipment. But I quickly found out how much fun it is to toss around things that look like beach balls and swing from things that look like monkey bars. I saw progress in the first two weeks, and, in half the time I've spent on every other form of fitness I've ever tried. I will never go back to a "regular" gym. Every workout is different, so you will stay motivated. The community atmosphere and the supportive coaches are the best part. I've been going to white bear crossfit for a few months now and I'm addicted. Jake and Thomas are great coaches and they will help you achieve proper form when performing any lifts. The people that go here are awesome and are normal " not staring at themselves in the mirror as they lift". The workouts are hard but isn't that the whole reason why you workout. If you go and give it everything, you will see results. I've been to a few different boxes and this place is nice. The just lowered their prices but it's still more than global gym. With that said its way better than any golds or lifetime. read more

I've been a member at CrossFit White Bear for over two years now and am addicted! Before starting at CFWB, I was at a "typical gym" and just wasn't invested in my fitness. Since joining, I love the transformation to my strength and body and most of all the mental confidence I now have.
