Polefly is essentially where I fell in love with the art of pole and Jess has set a standard for instruction that I've looked for in every studio I've attended since. She is highly technical and understands the mechanics of the body in a way that makes you feel really safe while you practice here. Poling can be scary but I never felt worried about injury at Polefly because Jess is very thoughtful and careful, she plans the lessons around you and your body, meeting you where you're at while still challenging you to try your best and push yourself a little more each time. Despite all of her extensive experience and technical prowess, Jess never makes you feel less than. So much of poling is as much mental as it is physical, and this space always feels and felt safe, supportive, and affirming. I grew so much here and I am so sad there are so many miles between me and this lovely space these days and always look forward to my next visit back. Thank you, Jess, for everything you do to make this space wonderful. Also: get here early, people. Sometimes the walk up the stairs is long.

Our group is very uncoordinated but we still had a really great time learning some moves and getting some exercise. The studio is clean and kept up well and Jess is a great and encouraging instructor and doesn't make you feel like an idiot (even if you know you're looking like one!). I can't speak to the normal classes here but would highly recommend booking a private event for a special birthday surprise or bachelorette weekend!

What I love about this studio that sets them apart from others is the variety of classes offered for all levels and types of people. Some of my favorite classes so far are: power flow yoga ( a MUST take class with instructor Bethany) , multi flow vinyasa, barre (take Kimies class!!!!), HIIT (Pattie is motivating) and low body blast. And I haven't even tried them all yet! There are a multitude of workshops that happen every month, from meditation, to restorative yoga, to yoga with your children, to focusing on healing just one part of your body. They even do ugly sweater yoga at a brewery every year! ALSO, there is a wellness studio on the second level with doctors of natural medicine, physical therapy, mental therapy. And Verbena!! A spa center where they offer massage, acupuncture, a salt room... it just keeps getting better. I haven't gotten a massage yet, but it's on my "to-do" list. Really tho.... can you ask for anything else? I seriously recommend anyone young or old, male or female to check out Bloom... who knows you might find what has been missing in your life! I researched Yoga classes in my area with a few criteria in mind: convenient location and times, experienced, knowledgeable instructor, comfortable atmosphere, encouragement but no pressure. I called Liz and immediately felt comfortable enough to try her class. Of course I was nervous at my first class. I spoke to a few others and asked about the class. Everyone was positive with comments like "Liz is wonderful, She'll encourage you to push yourself with no pressure, I've been coming to this class for years, etc." I've now been attending yoga class twice weekly for about two months now and I love it! I can feel my strength and flexibility improving and Liz tells me with time I might even flatten my belly. Everyone is friendly, yet the class is a good size with opportunity for individualized help as needed. The payment procedure is convenient and reasonable. Liz is amazing, always encouraging as she varies the class weekly so it always feels fresh and new. It's a great class! So, if you are interested in Yoga, give it a try.

I've felt intimidated going to other studios but Brianne has created such an inviting and supportive environment to practice in, that I truly feel renewed and uplifted by the time I leave. There is a class for absolutely every level here, from gentle for people with chronic injuries, to advanced freestyle that will push you to your limits, but no matter what class you are in you will never feel put down for doing what you are comfortable with. In addition to the yoga classes there is occasionally Kirtan or live music during a class, which is a whole other experience in of itself, and such an amazing opportunity to meet musicians who travel the world!
