The title of executive resume writer simply does not do justice to Wendi's breadth and depth of expertise, wisdom, intellect, ability to interview, organizational skills, raw talent as well as, her acumen, and empathy. Yes, this was a major decision for me. It was a significant investment of my time and financial resources. It was well worth the investment; I expect the ROI will be immeasurable. I am well on my way to seeking an appointment to a corporate board. Wendi translated my C-suite experiences in large non-profit organizations, service to the community, certifications, and degrees into a compelling professional package positioning me for a potential corporate board seat. Wendi insisted that I conduct due diligence and interview other professional resume writers. I did so but let me save you the trouble: Wendi is far superior in every dimension to the other companies that I interviewed. Wendi's questionnaire enabled me to assemble all of facts one needs to include in a resume, but more importantly, it provoked deep reflection about what I accomplished in my career and my next phase in seeking a corporate board seat. I was in awe of Wendi's mastery of LinkedIn. I consider my resume and my bio to the perfect reflection of my personal professional brand. She met every delivery deadline which motivated me to keep my side of the bargain. Clearly, Wendi is a leader in her field, but additionally she cares about her clients. She is witty, fun, really knows her stuff, and is a pleasure to work with. NACD recommended Wendi when I completed their Director Certification program. I am so glad that they did. read more

Writing a resume today is very different than when we graduated law school 15+ years ago. Wendi is extremely knowledgeable in job search strategies and branding yourself in your resume and LinkedIn. I have known Wendi for more than 10 years, just as she was beginning to transition from attorney-at-law to professional resume writer. I seldom write reviews but felt compelled to do so after working with Wendi Weiner. Where to begin.... The process began with a consultative phone call to gain an understanding of what it is that I do, past experience, and if the two of us would be a good fit. At the end of the call Wendi asked if I had spoken with anyone else regarding resume writing services. When she heard that I had not, she urged me to do so. I was ready to sign with Wendi right then and there... why talk me out of her services? This was one of the first of many indications that Wendi was the right choice. Wendi does not at any point "sell you" on something that you do not need as she genuinely whole heartedly cares about her clients and wants what is best for them. Wendi wanted me to see alternatives for myself and understood that this was a large investment on my part. I took Wendi's advice and spoke with two other professionals that she had recommended. It was a pleasure speaking with both and I'm certain that they would have done a fantastic job. However, Wendi really set herself apart from the rest. The next step was the questionnaire which was astonishingly thorough and personal. Wendi uses this as a tool to take your thoughts, ideas, and experience (some of which may be suppressed somewhere inside of you) and pull them out of you to paint her picture. A draft is created followed by a screen share session to review before the final version is created. Once created I was stunned and I still am at the difference between what was created with Wendi vs my past resume. Prior to working with Wendi I had sent out my resume to dozens of jobs and never heard back from any of them and I couldn't figure out why. Wendi explained that things have changed drastically over the last few years in the world of resumes. They are now formatted quite different compared to the "traditional" style that I had from years ago. Companies are now using ATS (application tracking software) and in order to get noticed you have to make sure your resume has the right buzz words or you will get overlooked (even if you are qualified for the position). Finally, prior to working with Wendi I did not have a LinkedIn account. LinkedIn opened up a world of possibilities. Wendi created my page from beginning to end and did nothing short of an amazing job. This is not copy and pasting sections of your resume. It is written and formatted specifically for LinkedIn which is essential in this day in age. Beyond all of this Wendi was there for me throughout my career search. I had been fortunate enough to have been with my employer for several years. The flip side to this was I had not looked for a job in several years and did not know where to begin. I had so many questions in terms of applications, follow up etiquette, emails, phone calls, LinkedIn (having never one before). Despite Wendi being extremely busy because she is perhaps the most highly regarded and well known in the business she delivered highly personalized service throughout the entire process. Any question I had was answered via email at lightning speed and I was never once made to feel as if I was a bother. WENDI GENUINELY CARES ABOUT HER CLIENTS. She wants to see you succeed and will do any and everything in her power to help you to do so and land your dream job. I could not have landed my new job without her assistance. Wendi helped me transition from a dead-end job to a career with a fortune 500 company ranked as one of the top 100 companies to work for. Wendi I don't know how I can ever repay you or thank you enough. You are awesome! read more

Wendi, "the writing GURU" is brilliant. She truly is a resume/career/branding guru. I utilized Wendi's services for my resume and LinkedIn profile after relocating to Florida from New York. I am a true believer in Wendi because of what her expertise and advice has done for me and my career. I was laid off of my job as an attorney July of 2016. I had been practicing law for 5 years so I didn't think it would be hard to find another position. I was dead wrong. A month and a half went by of me applying to at least 6 legal positions a day with NO offers, and hardly any call backs. I was feeling discouraged and completely down. A friend recommended Wendi and I'm so glad she did! Wendi reviewed and edited my resume. After only two days applying with the new resume I received four interviews which landed me two job offers!! I was astounded and I know it was because of my resume since that was the only thing that changed! I ultimately was able to choose and landed my dream job! Thank you Wendi! If it wasn't for you I would probably still be unemployed. You are truly a miracle worker! read more
