As I waited I had a look around and was impressed as the salon was a lot larger than it seemed from the outside. My therapist was friendly and lead my through to one of the treatment rooms. My massage was good and I immediately felt relaxed during the treatment. When it came to paying afterwards I was so relaxed that it took me a few minutes to fish my purse out of my bag! It was not too pricey, I paid £15.00 which is quite good for a massage. I would recommend this salon if you live in the local area.

I've had one or two wax treatments from Julie, who chat's to you like an old friend throughout. Julie also offers an array of other services; massage, including aromatherapy, and facials that include treatments for acne, sensitive skin, anti ageing or something simply to hydrate tired skin. There is also the option of hand and feet care including the obligatory manicures and pedicures although that's not my thing. The stylists are friendly, helpful and skilled at what they do. I recently attended a vintage themed night there which was brilliant, they had free champagne & cupcakes (winning combo!) plus vintage clothes stalls and stylists doing vintage hair dos and make-up. Plus their latest addition, a nail bar, where you can get all the latest nail treatments and nail art plus normal manicures and painting. It's a classy establishment, so the prices aren't cheap if you want the top stylist, but you can save money by getting your hair done by their capable graduate stylist. Prices vary from £26.50 for a cut & style with a graduate, £32 with a senior stylist or £39.50 with the Style Director. They also specialise in colouring, perms, hair extensions and wedding packages. I was treated to a nice head massage while getting my hair cleaned and the chair was a massage chair so it was all very relaxing. I was very pleased with the cut and I was asked how I wanted it blow-dried. This time I went for straight hair but I've had it curled and styled here before and its always been good.

The girls here were great, they completely understood what had gone wrong and they advised me on what to do. They managed to slot me in two days later, brilliant! As I entered the girl on the desk remembered me and came up, smiling and chatting. I was put at ease straight away. They gave me a coffee and a magazine and got to work. A few hours later my hair was complete and I was in shock. There were no blocks of blonde anymore just carefully blended shades complimenting one another. They'd even got my style correct without having to ask. Over the years my hair ideas have changed so I had to step away from Evolution as they want to do the same thing with me each time.
