They wanted payment, but I refused to pay until the job was complete as stated in their contract. That evening the owner of the company called me with his family in the car actually screaming at me, cussing me out for not paying. I didn't back down, and refused to pay until the job was complete. The next day he sent out someone to finish the stairs, I paid, and swore to never use this company again. I advise you to avoid as well.

Attention to detail, the care of our home and possessions were taken in to account. Everything was handled and treated with care. They treated our home like they would as if it were their own. The old carpet/flooring was hauled away. Once the installation was completed, everything was put back in place, and the new flooring was properly cleaned. While the company may have access to subcontractors capable of good work, my personal experience was that the overall communication, reliability, and quality control were severely lacking. Throughout my project, communication was inconsistent at best and completely absent at worst. There were frequent excuses, last-minute cancellations, and ongoing delays, which caused a project that was originally estimated at four months to drag on far beyond the timeline. Repeated attempts to get clear updates were met with attitude, evasiveness, or no response at all. In my case, Adam personally installed cabinetry in a basement kitchenette. The installation was done so poorly that cabinets had to be redone, and several pieces were left rubbing against drawer faces. When concerns were addressed, I was met with unprofessional behavior and frustration rather than accountability or solutions. The constant nickel-and-diming, lack of transparency, shifting stories, and unwillingness to take responsibility ultimately forced me to end the relationship and hire someone else to finish the job properly. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Adam Williams or Atlanta Remodeling Specialist. I strongly encourage anyone considering this company to look elsewhere for a contractor who communicates clearly, honors timelines, stands behind their work, and behaves professionally.

After 4 years of living here I made the decision that I needed to open up the front entry room to the living room and the living room open up to the kitchen to create a much more seamless open living space. Old houses can be tricky so I knew it would not be easy. I interviewed many contractors and ultimately landed with Adam and his team at Atlanta Remodeling Specialists. To make this open concept work we needed to remove walls, put in two load bearing beams, rearrange and add to the kitchen, build up a subfloor, and then match flooring trim and cabinet colors. I'd like to think that I am pretty handy but I know my limits. So that's where these pros came in. I had a pretty clear image in my mind of what I was looking for and Adam and his team delivered! Every day they worked they kept the house as clean as they could so I could continue to live there during the process. Communication was top notch and easy to get questions answered especially because I often was at work while they worked on the house. During the project I also needed to have part of the roof repaired from a leak and Adam was able to set that up and a team was up there fixing it within 24 hours. One of my final projects was to replace my unsightly hardwood and tile floors with LVP. I got several quotes from small and large companies; some who made the job seem like it would be impossible because my house was old and had its issues. Every company that came, pointed out a slant in the floor, a dent, or patch of missing hardwood- all of which would increase the cost of the final project. Some companies also required me to hire someone else to move all the furniture out of my home first. When Alex from Oakerds came out he did a thorough inspection of the job and gave me a price that was lower than most other companies. I was shocked at how smooth the estimate went. Wallison came to my house the same day and was able to start working a few days later. Not only was Wallison happy to answer all of my questions but he was very helpful in picking up and delivering the materials as well helping me save money. The final price I paid for the laminate and tile install was more than reasonable and the quality of the work is superior.
