They wanted payment, but I refused to pay until the job was complete as stated in their contract. That evening the owner of the company called me with his family in the car actually screaming at me, cussing me out for not paying. I didn't back down, and refused to pay until the job was complete. The next day he sent out someone to finish the stairs, I paid, and swore to never use this company again. I advise you to avoid as well.

They also damaged the floor when they put a sofa back in place. Certainly it was not done on purpose, but again they have failed to provide good customer service. I will probably have to find someone else to make the repairs since they refuse to return my calls. I will not refer them out. The fortune is in the follow-up!

Attention to detail, the care of our home and possessions were taken in to account. Everything was handled and treated with care. They treated our home like they would as if it were their own. The old carpet/flooring was hauled away. Once the installation was completed, everything was put back in place, and the new flooring was properly cleaned. Overall we were highly impressed, and we look forward to using RUK Flooring for our tile replacement in our kitchen and bathroom makeovers.

I was told I'd hear back in a day or two. I waited. Didn't hear anything back, called back. They said someone would call me. Waited - didn't hear anything. Called in a week later same thing. I played along to ask for the itemized quote (because theres no way that they could justify that number) but they couldn't give it. For a project that involves your house and $20K plus you want a professional company. My experience with them has been anything but professional - I 100% would not even waste your time.

Bottom line, customer reviews on painting included or insinuated they received good service on painting jobs to include cabinets. My question to the woman was, do you all paint cabinets? Her response, well not really!!! Well only if the cabinets are new. What lady? You either do or don't! So, you will paint a new cabinet but not and older or used cabinet? So, then I say, so you don't paint cabinets? She responds, yes...well, we don't really like to advertise cabinet painting, but we do make an exception...if the cabinets are new. Well, okay. ("So, we are pro's but only when we don't have to work hard") Lol! The Attitude, and that is the same attitude that you don't want to handle your business or your property. I am passing on working with this company.

I somehow stumbled upon 1st Quality Flooring. I initially spoke with David and then was put in touch with the Project Manager, Wallison, who I can't say enough good things about. Wallison came to my house the same day and was able to start working a few days later. Not only was Wallison happy to answer all of my questions but he was very helpful in picking up and delivering the materials as well helping me save money. The final price I paid for the laminate and tile install was more than reasonable and the quality of the work is superior. The crew did my whole condo in one day, finished the details the next morning, cleaned up everything and moved the furniture back to his original position and were completely finished by noon. I couldn't have asked for better service and I'm so glad I found 1st Quality Flooring. I would definitely recommend them for your flooring needs.

The work crew is meticulous, and they do a remarkable job of keeping things clean. You might find someone who is cheaper, but you might not actually save money doing so, as few contractors do as careful work. We did have a few hiccups working to a hard deadline (guests arriving from out of town), but Josh, Jesse and the rest of the crew worked extra to get almost everything done. They also came up with creative solutions for a couple of items, such as hanging sconces on a mirror we could not drill through for wiring. They just came back this week for a couple of days to finish off some minor items which could not get done before our deadline. We are very pleased with the work. Do make sure you talk through expectations up front.
