Absolutely thrilled with our new blinds from Budget Blinds of Healdsburg!…read more We replaced all of the blinds in our home, and the experience couldn't have been better. Locally owned and operated, the team was amazing from start to finish -- professional, friendly, and fun to work with. Their attention to detail was outstanding, and they went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. The blinds themselves are beautiful, high-quality, and surprisingly affordable. One arrived with a very minor shipping imperfection -- something I honestly wouldn't have even noticed -- but the installer insisted on replacing it so that everything would be flawless. Two weeks later, the new blind was installed at no cost and with a smile. I love supporting local businesses, and Budget Blinds of Healdsburg truly deserves the praise. Great people, great service, and a great product. Highly recommend!

I really cant say enough good things here but my favorite points to share are: 1. great design 2. great team of skilled workers 3. attention to details 4. no excuses-projects finished on time 5. good vendors/for picking out materials etc. Le Petit Chateau made it fun to improve my property. Interior…read moredesigner recommended a gal to make drapes for dining room and she sub-contracted out the shades. Windows West was the vendor she used. In addition to other items, we bought blackout shades for 3 bedrooms. Various shades have broken numerous times, one particular shade has had to be repaired 4 times, twice sent back to the factory for repairs that couldn't be done on site. I wish there were a lemon law for home furnishings. The rep for northern California, D'Artagnan (no, he's not as helpful as a musketeer), is nice enough but it sometimes takes him weeks to make his way down to the San Francisco area and so we must live with a shade that is half-way down, making the room dark during the day and letting in the light early in the morning, and just looking like we're hillbillies with a crooked shade hanging in the window. Latest mishap is that the cord to the shade in my daughter's room snapped 6 weeks ago. Got a replacement cord at no charge but cannot get it into the control box. I've sent 4-5 emails, they say they'll look into it and then I hear nothing. I wish I'd done some research and not just gone with the company that the designer recommended. (She no longer uses Windows West after my experiences.)

The BRAND of blinds purchases are no longer in business and when I reached out to the yuba city store they refused to honor the lifetime guarantee. Now if I had been provided a resolution from budget blinds to try and fix the issue I might have been happy but their only option was to purchase NEW blinds from them at NO discount. The issue I'm having could be corrected by budget blinds but their unwillingness to make the customer experience better is has fallen short. It's not anyone's fault that the company no longer exists and I'm sure there was something put in place for the thousands of customers with warranties in place to seek assistance when this issue inevitably happened. Do not go through budget blinds and next time I'll go through a company not within my home town so that I can get better assistance. this is why this company is slowly closing stores!
