All of the staff members have been genuinely curious and open to our ideas and concerns. We are grateful that LCA has integrated our child's strengths into his learning path. This has greatly increased his enthusiasm for school! We were tired of paying private school prices for a public school experience. The Montessori schools are too far away, but that is the type of independent learning environment our child thrives in. Fortunately, LCA offers an environment that recognizes the individual, celebrates creativity and works collaboratively with families.

The faculty, staff, and parents are clearly all aligned under a common goal of doing what's best for our students. I can't imagine teaching anywhere else!

This school fucking sucks. They do senior save days to help seniors get there hours in if they need…read moreto make hours up for their attendance an order to graduate and then tell seniors the meetings and graduation practices are mandatory and they have to attend, but then tell the seniors if they go to the MANDATORY senior events they won't count those hours they are making up. If the students take a lunch break they deduct time from these students for going to eat but sit at their desks and munch away . This school is filled with rude, disrespectful, bad built teachers and staff that think they are "helping" the students when in reality they are making it worse. They are not organized with anything AT ALL, don't tell students about schedules, events, or anything important. Give information LAST MINUTE and then tell you "oh well nothing i can do" when it's genuinely their fault. They are setting these students up for failure, this school SUCKS the teachers are creeps and love kids do NOT come here. They gave these students hours A WEEK before FINALS and expected them to make them all up by the end of that week when most students had like 30+ hours to make up.. that's unrealistic especially for the students who have JOBS and finals to do. They are trying to hold students back from graduating with their classmates in June and telling these students who got the hours "oh you can always graduate in August" who wants to do that? No one. This is insane and unbelievable, you guys suck and need to do better. Organize better and communicate better. These staff members don't think about the students they only think about themselves and what they want to stuff their faces with for lunch. This year (2024) has been the WORST year for Klein Oak and klein isd period. I came to klein because my mom's friend told her that klein schools were great!! klein schools suck. they say they have a great education system, okay yeah maybe for some kids but most kids can't even tell the difference between a state and a country. That same friend has recently took her kid out of the district because of the RACISM , not only from the students but from the STAFF too. This school and every other school in the klein district stinks (literally stinks). This school NEEDS TO DO BETTER. They only care about the schools rating and ranking, they care more about your damn attendance than anything and if your child has had no problems with anything at this school it's probably because they don't speak to anyone and are a teachers pet. Klein Oak sucks BAD. 0/10 do not recommend .

My experience at Knox Junior High has been extremely negative, and I would not recommend this…read moreschool to others. From the moment you walk in, the environment feels uncomfortable and poorly managed. Students often feel unsupported, and many issues that should be addressed by staff are ignored. Teachers rarely step in when problems happen, which creates a stressful atmosphere where students do not feel safe or heard. There are also constant rumors about serious incidents that have happened at the school. Whether true or not, these stories spread quickly and make students uneasy. The overall feeling of the school is unsettling, especially in areas like the bathrooms. Many students hear strange noises in the bathrooms, which adds to the uncomfortable and eerie environment and makes students want to avoid them altogether. Another issue is the administration. The assistant principal, Bobby McClain, comes across as very strange and unapproachable, which does not help students feel comfortable going to him for help or guidance. Leadership plays a big role in how safe and supported students feel, and unfortunately, that support seems lacking here. Overall, Knox Junior High feels like a place where student concerns are not taken seriously. Between the lack of action from teachers, the uncomfortable atmosphere, and poor administration, this school fails to provide a positive or supportive learning environment. Because of these reasons, I would give Knox Junior High a one-star rating.

I am a student at Knox, and my experience here could be a lot better. The moment I step into this…read morebuilding, I feel quite disorganized and nervous about the seven hours of hell I'll have to endure. As a student, my goals in school are to learn, get good grades, make friends...all that good stuff. Although the coordination in this school is very little, making it difficult to achieve these standard goals. First, I feel that there is a large sense of favoritism, especially among the administrative staff. Students who play sports get treated a lot better compared to other students who don't. Administration is normally more friendly and helpful around these students. Second, my feelings about the administrative staff are very mixed. There are caring, kind counselors such as Mrs. Hollis, but many other staff are very rude, and uneasing to talk to. One of the assistant principals, Bobby McClain, is quite short-tempered and stern. There are multiple rumors around him that make me feel very nervous when talking to him. These rumors are about serious topics, making other students nervous and uneasy. It's most of the reason why I made a brand new account to hide my name, just in case the administration sees this review. Students seem to have a collective negative opinion of this specific person, which is something that isn't being dealt with. Although, the teachers I currently have are able to teach their class with no issue relating to behavior or teaching style. Some of them are actually very kind and forgiving. Overall, I'm actually excited to go to highschool next year JUST to leave Knox behind.
