I recently had to under go a major surgery with Dr.Marcantal being my surgeon and he's one of few doctors I would ever trust to handle this procedure. I was trying to avoid and try alternative options but he assured me that this was the best decision and best outcome. Overall 10/10 and would preferably not want to go through it again, but in the end I gained a cool scar and been enjoying some great pain medication to get through it.

But the past few years I've gone to this location I've saw different doctors, NP, PA, that weren't all that great and leave an impression that all they care about is money and not the care of the patient and that's sad. My last appointment which was my annual I received a bill via email because I needed a refill my HRT meds that I've been on since 2023. I never once in the past two years been charged for asking for a refill until I saw once again a new person who added to my notes that I brought up HRT. Mind you HRT is needed especially at my age after a hysterectomy. I was not told during my appointment by the physician assistant who did my exam I would be charged this, I was also not told this when I was checking out that I would be charged. So I'm a bit annoyed that this was a surprise. Am I not supposed to get a refill? Even though after my surgery in 2023 I was told I would need to be in HRT going forward? I am highly disappointed and now have lost trust with this location. The lack of communication is terrible. I have also noticed with the new people I see each time the care has gone downhill. Lots of reviews state this so I am not alone. I will not be returning to this location that I can promise. So anyone thinking of going to this location beware of any surprise bills since they blindly tend to do it. Very dissatisfied

From the very beginning to the very end, I was treated with so much love, compassion, and genuine attention. The entire experience felt like God placed this team together just for me. From the moment I arrived, I was surrounded by kindness. Every single person I encountered played a role in making me feel safe, seen, and cared for. From the cafeteria staff, to room service, to transportation every interaction mattered. I want to start by thanking Stella from housekeeping, Lilly the puppy , Tashi from the cafeteria, and Carlee from transportation you all made such a difference in my experience. It wasn't just medical care; it was the small, thoughtful moments that truly meant everything. To my nurses Natasha, Yvette, Nicolas, Keila, Jency, Mamta, Cady, and Mideline thank you for your patience, your attentiveness, and your constant check-ins. I will list names, although I may not remember every exact role, but I absolutely remember how each of you made me feel. I especially want to give a heartfelt and EXTRA special thank you to my two daytime nurses the beautiful Black nurse and the lovely, spirited Spanish nurse. You both went above and beyond for me. You constantly checked on me, made sure I was comfortable, and showed genuine concern for my well-being. There was one moment that truly stood out to me my Spanish nurse noticed that my pain medication orders only covered mild pain, and I didn't have anything for moderate pain. I was in pain and honestly couldn't advocate for myself at that moment, but she did it for me. She personally called the doctor to request proper nausea and pain medication to make sure I was taken care of. That level of attention, advocacy, and care meant everything to me. To Angela Krebs, PA-C, thank you so much. When I felt nervous and unsure about what I was experiencing, you didn't dismiss me you listened. You reassured me, but still took the time to check and rule things out just to give me peace of mind. That level of care and respect truly touched my heart. And to add the icing on the cake you all even provided me with a loaner walker to help me regain my balance. That level of thoughtfulness and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. I also want to give a special thank you to the anesthesia team. I was definitely a little extra sleepy afterward , but that just shows I was in good hands. My pain level during the procedure was at a complete zero it wasn't until afterward that I required any medication. I truly appreciate the quality of care and attention to my comfort. Now, the biggest and most heartfelt thank you goes to Dr. Stephen McCarus, and his wife, Dr. Tamberly McCarus! Dr. McCarus is truly one of a kind. Not only did he perform my surgery with excellence, but he took the time to truly care for me as a person. Before my procedure, he prayed with me and that meant everything because I was so scared. That moment alone brought me so much peace. He listened to every single concern I had, especially regarding my keloid skin and scarring, and made sure to minimize my scars as much as possible. I truly felt heard, respected, and cared for. What touched me even more was that he came back later that night around 10 PM just to personally check on me. He made sure I was comfortable, advocated for my care, suggested ice, repositioning, and pain management; everything. That level of dedication is rare and meant more to me than words can explain. I was facing something major something that could have been terrifying but the way I was cared for made me feel so peaceful and safe that I didn't even fully realize the magnitude of what I went through until afterward. This was more than just healthcare. This was compassion, love, and purpose in action. I thank God for each and every one of you. I will never forget this experience. 10/10. Forever grateful.

In all of the staff that I encountered were very kind and very courteous. I'm sure my wife as a patient has a different perspective. The building that this facility is located at is absolutely huge. I first met with Michelle for a consultation, where she assured me she would personally handle my entire pregnancy, be on call 24/7, and be present for all appointments. Based on that representation, I paid the $1,500 registration fee. However, at my first prenatal appointment--at 19 weeks--I was suddenly assigned to a completely different midwife without any notice or explanation. The midwife (Robin) appeared inexperienced and unsure of how to perform even basic clinical tasks: * She struggled to operate the balance scale and gave me a weight that was clearly inaccurate. * She incorrectly calculated my due date by four months, despite having my last menstrual period date in front of her. * She could not confidently locate my baby's heartbeat, confused my pulse with the fetal heart rate, and claimed the "fetal heart rate was low" without certainty. * She took my blood pressure over a thick long-sleeve sweater, which is not proper medical procedure. * She then told me to go directly to the emergency room, claiming she had called ahead to have a bed ready. This caused extreme panic and emotional distress. Additionally, if she genuinely believed this was a medical emergency concerning my unborn child, she should have called an ambulance, not told a pregnant woman to get on the highway and drive herself while terrified. That is a fundamental violation of basic safety protocol. While driving--shaken and scared--I called the center back and asked for Michelle. Only then did I learn that I should not go to the hospital and instead return to the birthing center immediately. Michelle also mentioned she had dinner plans, which was unprofessional given the crisis her staff had just created. When I returned, Michelle immediately reassessed me. She used the Doppler and her handheld ultrasound, confirming that my baby was moving normally and not in any distress. She found the heartbeat quickly and without any issue. My baby was perfectly fine. The earlier panic, incorrect information, and poor clinical judgment were completely unnecessary and unacceptable. I have worked in the legal field for over five years, and everything about this experience raises serious concerns about medical malpractice, negligence, and unsafe clinical practices. I requested a full refund and will no longer be receiving care here. I will also be reporting this incident to the Florida Department of Health, as no expectant mother should be subjected to incorrect medical information, unsafe instructions, or avoidable fear. Expectant mothers deserve competent, consistent, and safe care--not panic, confusion, and contradictory assessments.
