Yes, I routinely tipped very generously here.. I thought my patronage was appreciated & I might be accepted by the band of Mensa hopefuls.. Nope, one of their overly served sloppy drunk regulars tried to throw me under the bus after making an inappropriate comment to me about a group of mis- identifed females.Long story short I was accused by Amy( once again, look at the negative reviews & her involvement in EVERY one! & Patrick of suddly being the center of dozens of customer complaints. Interesting how you backed the sloppy drunk & tried & failed miserably at pinning your misguided loyalty at me. Being admittedly sloppy drunk as the owner of a bar is a bad look. However; to attempt to good cop/bad cop a customer is diabolical. I think you are starting to realize, I am not the one.The rule of 10x is in play...good luck

They have a TouchTunes internet jukebox turned up to a measured 83 decibels. The lighting is the brightest I've seen in here in the last 30 years. Removed the scuzzy curtains over the windows, and cleaned the windows. Threw out the booths and put in hi top tables. Too bad they didn't re-do the padding on the barstools, which have been there for 60 years. They kept the Formica on the bar, which has the pattern rubbed off due to all the patrons. Too bad they didn't re-align the barstools to the worn out Formica..would have been a cool touch. They still have the old time schooners for the beer. Best thing in this bar, because the schooners are frozen!

So, it's really annoying to me the way that the entire time I was there the security just kept going in and out to the parking lot to smoke weed and take shots literally not 10 feet from the line literally rubbing it in our faces they were having a better time. Was annoying. Everyone who worked there Saturday had a it sucks to sucks attitude. The big thing for me is that I was under the impression that this was a country themed bar because that's obviously how it's marketed however, they just played trap music the entire time I was there. I swear on my life there was no country music. Also, they allow underage people in of course they mark them so they don't serve them alcohol but it's just not my scene as someone who is in their mid 20s. I don't want some 18 year old asking me to twerk on him while I wait ten years for a drink. Won't be returning.

The bar owner repeatedly accused us of having arrived at 1 am and expecting her to serve us. I guess we were guilty as charged. What bar closes before 1 am on a Saturday? I would not recommend this establishment to anyone due to the service. Also, The Far Side Lounge closes early almost every night of the week, even on weekends. My pool team was going to start practicing at the Far Side on Sundays. We have decided not to do business at this establishment in the future.
