I do not find anything excessive about their pricing and all the staff there seem very friendly and eager to help you with any purchases. The music is not too loud, the people I meet at the other tables all seem to be enjoying the place and finding new faces to talk to. With little else to compare to, Antique Billiards used to be a decent place but the atmosphere there is a little dark. The old Sticks/Clicks/Rac'em is a 6 ft quarter table venue set up for the pool leagues now, not a great place to hang with friends. Pinky's is long gone, Old Chicago at Acad/AstBluffs is now a Wells Fargo and I do not even know about any other "Pool" halls available. Note: There are no billiards or Snooker tables, there is no chalk, no masse or jump shots and most of the tables have reasonable felt and bumpers.

The ambiance was ok and there wasn't alot of people there when we got there around 6:15pm. The bar tender is a heavy set older lady, she was not attentive to me or anyone in my party. She showed no sense of urgency to assist the customer, even with very few people in the pool hall it took a minimum of 15 minutes to get 1 simple drink. This service continued like this all evening and just got worse and worse. At a certain time in the evening this girl starts to come around to take orders which is supposed to help get your food and drink orders out faster as more people come to the establishment. The bar tender who is supposed to receive and process those orders was completely ignoring all the orders the girl was placing. I watched the bar tender having a conversation with some people that were sitting at the bar for over 10 minutes after our drink order was placed. She never went to the terminal to check for any orders during that time. Then I went up to the bar to ask about my drinks, she replied she will get to them soon. She then proceeded to continue her conversation with the group of people that she was talking to before, then she made 3 drinks for them. By this time it's been over 20 minutes and she still has not checked or asked what my order was. A few people came up to the bar while I was waiting on her to get to my order. They asked me how long I've been waiting and they told me that they had also placed their drink orders with the girl that was walking around but still they had not gotten their drinks. Normally I don't usually bother writing a lengthy review but I figured if anyone else is thinking of visiting this pool hall, get ready for some terrible service from the bar tender Christina. This has been the worst service I've ever had from a half assed bar tender. Also, she had a really bad attitude and was very sarcastic.
