My family was in need of a new tax return preparer. Sherwood Tax Solutions proved to be the perfect replacement. Carrie and Cyndi understood our anxiety. Sadly disappointed with this business. The owner Arlene does not respond to e-mails or phone…read morecalls. Her staff actually prepare the tax returns and Arlene reviews them. So the money being paid is not for her actual work or expertise but the clerical help. Had I known this upfront, I would not have used this business. The worst part, three weeks after giving them our information we did not hear until April 15th at 9 pm. Arlene calls and tells us we owe more than 10,000. We originally chose this company as Arlene stated she had experience doing taxes for expats. It is appalling to wait till the due date and then spring this large amount on someone. The good news is we took an extension and had another tax preparer take a look and ended up getting a refund. Stay away from this business if you want your taxes done on a timely basis, done right and by someone professional.

Before and during COVID-19, Laborde & Associate has always offered a five star service!…read more Laborde & Associates has helped us with our taxes for the last three years or so. They've always been very accommodating and super quick to respond to all of our questions. Since we hired them for the first time, there has been a lot of changes to the tax law, and Larry has always been great at informing us of any changes and educating us about any updates. With COVID-19 and the new extension dates, Laborde & Associate made sure we could stay safe at home while processing all of our taxes. Of course there has been some hiccups down the road, but I think this is a learning curve for everyone. I definitely recommend Laborde & Associate to everyone! Larry is a very charming person and I am sure you will love to work with him.

My experience with Pure Tax Resolution has been exceptional! Andrew started assisting me almost a…read moreyear ago with submitting an OIC to the IRS. I was skeptical to start the process because I read articles online that said there is a lot of scam locations out there that take your money but don't assist you with what you pay them to do during the OIC process. Its horrifying to deal with the IRS alone, and then to be scammed on top of that is unthinkable. I feel very blessed that I chose Pure Tax Resolution and had Andrew as my Lawyer helping me through the process. Andrew stayed in contact with me and answered all of my questions and concerns. If I asked any questions that he did not have an answer to, he would get an answer for me in a very timely manner. Fortunately the outcome of my OIC offer was positive, but I can honestly say if the outcome had been different, I would still be posting this same review. I will recommend Pure Tax Resolution to anyone I know or hear of, that is thinking of attempting an OIC. Please don't deal with the IRS on your own, hire Professionals to make sure such an important step in your life is handled correctly! Thank you again Andrew!
