Located in a small plaza in Decatur, Atlanta Wings is a small, unassuming spot that you may miss if you blink. Upon entry, this place may not dazzle you. The decor and design are yellowed and stuck in 1991, but please don't let that deter you. The two folks behind the counter seemed to be the owners and they were so kind. My friend and I both placed orders to go and I appreciated that they verbally confirmed our orders at least twice. No errors happening on their part! We both paid and went back to L&L. After chatting and losing track of time, we finally returned to Atlanta Wings to pick up our food on our way home. When we entered, the woman behind the counter shared her concern that we weren't coming back since we were gone for a bit, lol. I honestly think they went back and made us another batch of food because they took a few minutes and my plate was hot + freshly prepped when they handed it over. It was funny because the woman seemed as if she was scolding her partner for not having our orders up to par based on her opinion, lol. I appreciate them! My food was SO good. I ordered honey hot with lemon pepper sprinkles and they did not disappoint. My fries could have been fried harder but I'm certain that they would have made that happen if I requested it. However, the impossible burger seemed more like a beyond patty. I also opted for lettuce instead of a bun. Don't shame me, Saving my calories for the holidays.
