Strings of lights and cloth were draped across the ceiling, and colored lights were installed in the wall sconces, and fabrics were hung up to hide more unsightly, run-down areas of the event room. It probably took a *lot* of work, but they really made a difference to improve this somewhat less-than-mediocre place. If you plan on hosting an event here, make sure to hire a good decorator!
