Friendly and communicative staff! Our pup recently visited for her evaluation. While we ultimately decided it is too soon for the Wiggle Room (our pup is only 19 weeks and still gaining her confidence!), we look forward to reconnecting with Maia and her team when the time comes. The establishment is clean, spacious, and has lots of staff watching the many dogs in the Wiggle Room "pack". Would recommend participating in their free evaluation if you are interested in sending your pup to doggy day care! read more

We took our bernedoodle here while we lived in Newport for two years and have nothing but great things to say about Brooke as a groomer. They took such good care of our boy and he ALWAYS had an amazing haircut, no nicks or patches like we have had at previous groomers. We are so sad to be leaving Brooke and her skills. read more

I take my dog here for day care and they are awesome! Maia is such a great person. She's really nice and accommodating. Also she's very understanding when it comes to my dog. She is always open to conversations and also honest with everything. She's one of the few people that I could probably trust my dog with. The staff is great and friendly as well which is why I take my dog here! They also like taking pictures of my dog! Maybe a livestream would be next! hehehe Do not believe the one bad review you see. There's always gonna be one Karen in every area code. lol That persons review is obviously a LIE and should not be allowed to enter any establishment. Wiggle Room you are the best and TRUSTWORTHY!!! read more

I was in tears after I got home with my doodle after he was groomed for the first time with Wiggle room. I verbally gave the groomer specific instructions on how I wanted his face trimmed, I also gave a photo for guidance. I wanted him to have long teddybear look. I had been growing his hair out on purpose to achieve this. The groomer cut his bridge of the nose right above the skin. With a very schnauzer cut. The owner was defensive and rude after I called and told them about the disregard the groomer showed towards my instructions. I did not take a close look while picking up my dog. I realized after we got home how much they cut off his nose hair resulting in my teddybear Schnoodle looking like a purebred schnauzer on the face. The owner went on in my first post stating I'm a bully. All my interactions with businesses are positive. I support numerous local businesses and fundraisers. This was my first time experiencing a unprofessional owner. It is true they were very nice and answered many questions prior to the appointment. But disregarded all of my instructions and photos for the haircut I requested. And after expressing my concern the owner became defensive, rude and unprofessional. This is why I felt the need to review the Wiggle room. If a business does not provide the service requested it can result in bad reviews regardless if the country is in a pandemic. That's not a excuse to treat a customer in a derogatory and bullying manner when they express unhappiness in your poor service provided to my sweet dog. Best of luck in the future Wiggle room. Listening to customers needs going forward will prevent bad reviews. read more

Emmie just stared today with a trial to see how she handled it. I have to say it's run very efficiently . I have no problem dropping her off for the day to play and they some of her Beagle energy out. She stayed in the smaller dog room . She was a little timid but I'm sure once she gets comfortable she'll be great! There's a bigger doggie room and both sides have access to outside which I personally like . There are couches, chairs little beds that they can nap on. It's really done well. Maia is awesome with the dogs. She has a assistant there so there plenty of help. I noticed it's not overcrowded so there's plenty of room for play . The rates are reasonable for 1/2 day or full. I totally recommend "The Wiggle Room for your best friend." read more

Our 5-year-old labradoodle has been part of our family since he was a pup. He's been a joy in every way, except one...grooming. We've been asked to not return by every groomer we tried on Aquidneck Island. None of these interactions have been positive in any way. Luckily, we found The Wiggle Room. Getting him through the door the first time wasn't easy. His new groomer, Brooke, welcomed him and she exuded calm confidence that all would go well. I left, dreading going back to pick him up and hearing the complaints. Instead, my labradoodle was ok. He was anxious to leave of course, but he was calm...and it was obvious he was comfortable with Brooke. The other quality Brooke demonstrated was competence that I think my dog sensed. There was no tension here. So, it's been many visits now. The quality is consistently outstanding. I won't lie, it's not my labradoodle's favorite thing, but he's ok with it. He goes willingly and comes out looking (and smelling) great. From our experience, we believe they are very best on Aquidneck Island. read more

A little disappointed because I'm trying to find a good dog salon service for my pups. I thought on their website you could get dogs nails trimmed for $15 for a stand alone service. But when I called you can't do it unless you purchase the whole package. I already took my pups to the vet and to petco and I wasn't too crazy about their service so I thought I would check this place because of the reviews. I'm just trying to find a place here that could do a good job. read more

I just picked up my dog after boarding her for a week while on vacation. It was so nice to know she was playing and socializing with all the other dogs during the day and then had free roam with one of the staff members at night (they even let her sleep in bed with them!) The thought of her being in a kennel just didn't sit well with me. The wiggle room is by far the best doggy daycare/boarding facility/groomer on the island. I wouldn't send my dogs anywhere else! read more

We have a dog that is very nervous around strangers but needed a groomer now that we moved to the area. I called a few places and was very up front about my nervous dog so it would not be a surprise when we arrived. No one called me back until we tried the wiggle room. Not only were they open and understanding they did research the night before on our dog which is an uncommon breed. Highly recommend read more

Fantastic groomer. The dogs love it and come home relaxed and looking wonderful. Great customer service and response time.

Brought my English Bulldog here for a bath, and nail trim, she came home smelling and looking much more lady like than she actually is. Maia and crew run a top notch program. Would highly recommend to anyone, short hair breeds or long! Well done wiggle room!! read more

I love the Wiggle Room, almost as much as my dog does. Maia is fantastic with the dogs - they are NEVER unattended so any inappropriate behavior is nipped in the bud before there are issues. I have complete confidence in my dog's safety and welfare when he's at the Wiggle Room; the place is spotless and Maia's background as a vet tech means she would recognize any health concerns. My dog is thrilled when we pull up at the door and exhausted at the end of the day - plus the regular safe and fun interaction with other dogs keeps him confident and low-key in places like the dog park. I only wish The Wiggle Room was a boarding facility, that would be so cool. read more

Love the Wiggle Room, Maia is fantastic with my dog. By the time I get Roxie home she's ready for bed. Maia calls me when she notices any issues with Roxie. Roxie gets a lot of play time and interaction with other dogs when I'm at work. I highly recommend the Wiggle Room. read more
