Rude, overpriced, unprofessional…read more I am extremely disappointed with both the service I received and the way this salon handled my concerns. During my color appointment, I repeatedly told my stylist that my scalp was itching, tingling, and becoming increasingly uncomfortable while the color was processing. These are common warning signs of irritation or a chemical reaction. Despite informing her, the color remained on my scalp. When I got home, it became clear that my scalp had been burned. The reaction was severe enough to trigger an inflammatory flare-up. No client should leave a salon with a chemical burn after expressing concerns during the service. What truly turned a bad experience into an unacceptable one was not just the casual attitude of my stylist, but later on in a separate incident, the salon's treatment towards me. When I expressed my grievance to them, first to the receptionists, then escalating to management, my concerns were largely dismissed. There was no meaningful acknowledgment, no genuine concern for my well-being, and no effort to take responsibility for what occurred. In addition, my interactions with the front desk were consistently rude and condescending. The black girl was the worst offender. Rather than feeling like a valued customer whose health and safety mattered, I felt as though I was being treated as an inconvenience for reporting a legitimate issue. Mistakes can happen in any business. What separates a reputable salon from a poor one is how it responds when something goes wrong. In this case, the lack of professionalism, empathy, and accountability was just as troubling as the injury itself. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone seeking services here.

It takes a bit of getting used to because of their level system (levels increase based on experience and pricing) with the different stylists they have working at any time. I'd say a solid 4.5! The only reason for losing .5 is that, I've had 3 different stylists due to what I think it's the level system as well as stylist just leaving for different opportunities which is completely okay just kinda stinks! I felt like as soon as I got to know her she was off to a new adventure.

The process looked easy enough, however, because it was my first time I wanted to go to a professional. That's where Lindsey comes in. She is one of the senior stylist at Clipzone and is as knowledgeable and skillful as she is friendly. She explained herself every step of the way, and she even had an apprentice at her side that she was educating. Promise was also kind and jumped right into the process as well. I expected great things for my outcome. What I had witnessed on YouTube was nothing short of amazing. Lindsey and Promise did not disappoint me. Honestly, my hair had never looked better. It was smooth, beyond silky, and practically weightless. I couldn't believe the hair that was on my head actually belong to me! It was as if I had had a hair transplant. That was seven weeks ago and my hair still looks fabulous. In fact, my sister who has twice as much hair as me went and had the same treatment with the same two professionals at Clipzone. They were so kind they really went above and beyond to make us comfortable, welcome and confident. Thank you, promise and especially you Lindsey for being a constant professional and daring to go where few have experience. no need to go to Indianapolis my friends, we can get great looking result right here at home In Anderson.
