I have had the privilege of working with the Lezara Team for 12 months and have experienced several…read moreof their treatments and products to support healthy, glowing skin. I have had multiple treatments of: Venus Viva, Hydrafacial, Laser Hair Removal, Mesotherapy, IPL, Botox (all with the lovely Valencia, professional, experienced and feels like sunshine for your soul), a dermoscope exam to check for any concerning moles (along with a few removals including Basal Cell Cancer), and have incorporated a comprehensive home skincare routine with ZO products. The primary reason I started with Lezara was to address hormonal cystic acne. Along with these treatments and products, I have also undergone systemic acne treatment directed by Lezara's GP Dermatologist, Dr. Malherbe. This is my first time partaking in medical grade skincare treatments and products supervised by a physician, and I am delighted with the Lezara Team's knowledge, experience, and professionalism. Equally amazing is their warm hospitality, genuine care and conversation, and customer service. One of my favourite aspects of the Lezara program is the regular follow up consults with Dr. Malherbe to assess progress and determine next steps to achieving goals. If you haven't had the honour of meeting him, Dr. Malherbe is one of a kind. He is truly a jack of all trades (he even delivered my son via emergency C section, performed his circumcision and my husband's vasectomy). Dr. G deeply values the mental health of his patients and acknowledges their health beyond the physical. Dr. Malherbe's extensive, world class training and experience, his work ethic, his ability to communicate and connect, and his values are at the helm of Lezara. Many patients including myself, come to Lezara to help restore and preserve their appearance in order to feel more radiant, resulting in a greater sense of self esteem. Natural aging, as well as growing and raising tiny humans, can take a toll on a woman's body! I highly recommend Lezara to anyone desiring to feel more radiant, vibrant and beautiful, which will ultimately elevate the confidence with which they show up in this world!

I've been going to this clinic regularly for years. It originally stood out as a budget-friendly…read moreplace for Botox because the per-area pricing made costs predictable. When they switched to per-unit pricing, it was understandable, as inflation is real and businesses need to adjust. However, this change led to a complete loss of price transparency. One visit I would spend $500, the next $700 for the same treatment. Dosing changes are not communicated until checkout. When I raised this concern, I was told simply that to achieve the same look as before, the injector had to add more, leaving clients with no ability to make informed choices. They raised Botox pricing due to rising costs, yet seem to have no issue unexpectedly increasing clients' bills by hundreds of dollars, as if we don't have budgets of our own. Andy in particular is worse with not being upfront about pricing, while the female injectors are much better. I have also had several consultations with Caroline over the years. I was repeatedly shown the same before-and-after photos and only offered the most expensive packages if I wanted "transformative results." Individual pricing was dismissed, and booking required a 50% deposit upfront, with packages costing thousands of dollars. Advice at the clinic has been inconsistent. A few years ago I was told they did not carry retinol because it thinned the skin. Later, new skincare lines were brought in and the same ingredient was promoted as barrier-strengthening, which is actually correct. Caroline uses technical-sounding ingredients such as matrixyl synthe 6 and betaine and cites specific stats from treatments, which can feel convincing. But researching the information shows it is largely drawn from pamphlets, not personalized expertise. Caroline pushed the idea that you cannot get proper results unless you use "medical grade" products. She made it sound exclusive, more regulated than anything available to the public, and framed retail options like Sephora as inferior or ineffective. It was the classic med spa sales pitch. In reality, the term isn't regulated at all, and many retail or Korean products can be just as effective depending on your skin and what's actually in the formulation. Unfortunately, my experience often felt more like a sales pipeline than genuine skincare advice. After using multiple suggested exfoliants, acids, serums, and drying acne products, my skin barrier became damaged. Rather than addressing the root issue, I was repeatedly told to book more facials or buy different products. After a Botox appointment, my brows were completely dropped for months. Andy was abrasive and uncomfortable to discuss the issue with, asking what he was "expected to do." The only explanation given was that it was a possible side effect, with no guidance or support offered other than putting a note on file for next time. The clinic prioritizes the appearance of professionalism over consistent, quality service. Staff turnover is high, requesting a specific injector can be difficult, and appointments are often moved to different injectors without notice. This feels like a typical family-run business prioritizing profits over clients while masking it with a polished image. Accountability is rare, and concerns are often defended rather than addressed. Overall, they prioritize perception over consistent client care. I would highly recommend seeing a female injector if you do end up going here, but I urge anyone considering this clinic to explore all their options first.

First, I want to say that I have loved my botox experiences elsewhere but an experienced and…read moremindful injector makes all the difference. It's a huge risk to get Botox here. Do you want to play Russian roulette with your face? You go to these places to try and feel better about things you'd like to improve or things you feel self conscious about and not only did they make my issues worse, they lacked empathy and were rude because the doctor there was offended that I said that skilled injectors in the past were able to just look at my face and know exactly what was needed whereas, even after seeing several of my previous charts, Dr. Lindsey seemed very unconfident. I regret not leaving. She said they mix botox differently than others so that placement doesn't really matter (???) If that's the case, what's the point of having charts? Then, she proceeded to add way too much botox so, I had a heavy, dropped brow with hooded eyes and a constant headache. She pretended the amount she was using was conservative but I have never had such a heavy forehead and extra hooded eyelids. I looked and felt terrible. I was visiting Abbotsford and I brought in charts from doctors who previously did a good job with a botox "brow lift". I brought a chart of the last place I went that did a bad job and specifically said I was extremely concerned about that happening again. Dr Lindsey proceeded to give me the worst botox of my life. I had insane Jack Nicholson / Spock eyebrows. The middle was frozen to the point of being painful while the end of my eye brows had complete movement. This doctor appears to have no idea what she's doing. I should have trusted my gut when she seemed hesitant. I asked for a refund so that I could at least go somewhere else and try and get the Spock brows fixed without an additional cost for correcting their mistake and the receptionist was extremely unprofessional, combative, and rude. Then they just didn't return my call or emails despite telling me they would. They "don't do refunds" even if they completely mess up your face. When I'm in San Francisco, I go to Nob Hill Medical Aesthetics and they consistently do a good job. The first time I went, the right eyebrow was slightly too high and they had me come in for a few complimentary units to fix it - that's how it's done. I will always go to them for botox when I'm in SF. They way they injected me made me feel refreshed and my eyes were open - it was perfect. The other time I had a horrible botox experience, the MedSpa was apologetic and offered to do what they could to fix it and did the right thing of refunding me for ineffective and poor service. I have since gone back to different injectors there. Meanwhile, MD Cosmetic & Laser will make things worse after they botch your face by implying you're a problem for complaining and then simply ignoring you. Dr. Lindsey claimed to be conservative but injected too much. If for whatever reason you think it's a prudent choice to get Botox here after this review, get half of whatever she suggests - she's more of a salesperson than a doctor. Even hair dressers will tell you if they can't achieve what you're looking for. This doctor doesn't have the integrity to do that. There was a nurse there who was friendly and helpful and gave me some useful tips but also prescribed me with a hydroquinone compound and failed to tell me that it's not for long term use since it's been banned in most countries. Good luck if you decide to visit this place, I've never felt so horrible about myself after a treatment.

Always happy to get my face resurfaced with a buffer, I trotted off to MD Cosmetic. Jamie, the perkiest cutie in the world did my procedure. This place is not a Spa - it has machines, and chemicals, and cool stuff that actually makes a difference. They do Botox which I will probably need to think about soon... as my life is installing those lines pretty quickly. The service was great, the facility is spotless and the results are fab. I will be gong back there to get some more "fake youth" put back into my face... bring on the chemicals Jamie... I am coming back!!!
