I am a recently single woman at fifty six and looking to live my best life. I like my face and my makeup and my clothes to be the best they can be and my skin especially. My first micronidling session was wonderful and I know it can take several treatments to arrive at a beautiful youthful glow, and i'm looking forward to it. Betty mcdonald used hyaluronic acid and apple stem cell serums that were absorbed into the little micro channels that were created by the pen. It was a very comfortable experience, and I would go back to her. She also gave me a diet that can improve my skin.ill be entering photos pretty soon to show results please give her a try she's a wonderful woman that cares for our skin and well being 100% read more

Absolutely avoid this Betty woman and her "business" at all costs. I spoke with her on the phone in hopes to find an acupuncturist to treat my infertility. It ended with me in tears. My Husband wrote a review on Google as he felt compelled to share our experience. Betty went as far as denying the conversation... If you're looking for details, check the photos below In my opinion, don't waste your time here and go to a reputable establishment. There are a ton of holistic/wellness/acupuncturists in the valley. I unfortunately stumbled across one of the worst! read more

Nicest experience ever, I had micro needling done, it is painless, which I was scared to try it. Cant wait to go back.

I was looking for an acupuncturist for a family member with some chronic pain and came across this practice. Neither myself nor my relative have yet visited this practitioner (will update this review when we do), but I wanted to address the two scathing reviews (same person IMO), that also show on google. As a small business owner I am familiar with difficult customers who are not a fit for a certain service and who you can't please and then get their jollies out of trashing your business. Take with a huge grain of salt. I am not a friend/family member of Ms McDonald but I wanted to put in my 2 cents in the interest of fairness. read more

Be warned. Not a real doctor, nor does she hold any medical license, medical background, education, or skills thereof to provide healthcare or medical advice in a professional manner, and will give you neglectful "advice". My wife who has been dealing with infertility issues for the last few years had contacted this woman to receive "pre pregnancy acupuncture" upon my wife sharing with her the struggles of pcos and ivf, Betty then proceeded to tell my wife "you will not have a baby, a baby needs a healthy mother and you are not healthy, you should not go through with your transfer (which is next week btw) and throw the idea of you having a baby out the window." Who says something like that to someone? How could someone claim to be a "healthcare provider" and yet be so cruel insensitive and unprofessional? These words are not exaggerated, they are exactly what was said, with multiple family members around to hear. Extremely unprofessional and unsolicited "advice" from this "healthcare provider". We have filed a complaint with the California board of practitioners, but wanted to share this terrible experience so others can beware of this insensitive woman who has no medical background, education, or skills to be making such claims OVER THE PHONE!!! read more

I would like to thank Betty McDonald, my acupuncturist, and my own body savvy for saving my life. When I went to see her, I complained about how tired I was even though I ate healthy and exercised.  She asked me for a copy of lab work that my doctor usually orders so I asked my doctor to do it. I was met with the excuse that I looked healthy and didn't need it.  However, I pressed the doctor and he finally ordered it.  When I brought it to Betty, she was  stunned that my kidney function was 53 and told me I was in second stage kidney failure and should go to a kidney specialist immediately,  I am only 40 years old and have two small children, so I was terrified. Right away, I called my doctor and he said that the problem was the Topamax and advil I was taking for migraines. I stopped taking it and my kidneys are fine and my energy is back. If I hadn't learned about the kidney failure from the blood test, I would have gone into kidney failure, been put on dialysis and no one would have connected the dots. Betty  is a health coach and a functional medicine practitioner who believes that blood work is a very important part of care. I am continuing acupuncture with Betty for my migraines and am so thankful someone listened and looked for the reason I was so tired.   I am so grateful to finally feel healthy and energetic. read more

I have been receiving acupuncture treatments since the 1980s and I can honestly say this is one of the most effective treatments I have received. I have a serious terminal illness and as a health coach she has given me good advice as well about holistic treatments and I am feeling much better. She is a thoughtful caring individual who cares about the welfare of each patient. read more

This woman was treating my daughter for back pain. After the last treatment (of three) she told my daughter that she didn't like having an 11 am appointment, that it was ruining her Friday. Also yelled at her about how my daughter should go to college, or that she would need to marry a billionaire like trump to provide for her. Totally inappropriate. read more

I should start by saying that I am 17 yrs old, and in High School. I was injured during a football game and was seeking help. My parents found Betty online. Although I was unsure about Acupuncture I was willing to try anything. Glad I did. Not only did Betty make me feel comfortable and explain every step to me she went beyond what my expectations were. She researched my injury and even offered services beyond acupuncture, she treated me with Frequency Therapy. She made every step to my recovery an easy and peaceful one. As much as I was nervous and unsure, I enjoyed speaking and gaining knowledge from her. She really cares, and I appreciate that! I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking treatment. read more

She has made me healthier than I've ever been in my life. Opening my eyes to knowing you need to take care of your body for it to take care of you. Thanks Betty! read more

I have experienced back pain for at least 35 years. I have had several back surgeries and procedures which literally did nothing for the pain. I was on massive doses of Oxicontin and finally Morphine which was driving me crazy. My chiropractor asked me if I had ever tried acupuncture. I was skeptical but I was in so much pain I knew I had to at least try it once. I called Betty McDonald and was given an appointment the same day. She placed her needles all over my back and let me lay there for about 40 minutes. I got up and 99% of my pain was GONE! I have continued with her treatments 1 day a week and the pain hasn't come back! I am happy to report I no longer take any pain meds which i'm sure has taken it's toll on me after all these years. This lady has been a God send for me! Oh, one more thing, her prices are so reasonable anyone should be able to afford her treatments! Thank you so much Betty for giving me some quality of life back! PS for those of you considering surgery, save yourself a lot of misery and just try her! read more

I am first generation Vietnamese-American and it was a no brainer that I would get acupuncture for my morning sickness when I found out I was pregnant. I'm 30 and in my first trimester with my first baby. This was not my first experience as I have been treated for over use syndrome in my wrists, sinus headaches, and bunion foot problems from other places throughout my life. I found Betty through my insurance's website and after four rounds of treatment, my constant all day and night morning sickness has been reduced down to only occasionally feeling nasesous when my stomach is empty and I need to eat. Crackers, ginger tea, and all the other advice I was given to help ease my morning sickness did not work. Acupuncture works for me and my holistic lifestyle. Betty is very sweet and is a wealth of knowledge. She cares and asks in depth questions to figure out what's going on and what's the best way to help. The weather started changing so she treated me for my sinuses and morning sickness in the same appointment. I will continue to see Betty as new ailments arise. read more
