This unnamed mural is on the backside of a vacated Pacific Pipe Co. building now occupied. It depicts a "photoshopped" image on a welder busy blasting away with his welding instrument while fully attired with protective gear.
Seemingly in an open air environment with birds, butterflies, live plants above and around him. It's unrealistic for such a scenario whereby living animals & plants are endangered.
Oakland was once a thriving industrial city with many steel related factories. Now nada.
"Welder" is a reminder of Oakland's colorful past.
