I knew we had some picky eaters in the bunch, and paella is a unique dish. That question was answered on the day after the wedding, as I inquired about leftovers only to find out there were NONE! Many of our guests kept going back up for seconds and left no crumbs. The mixta and classic paellas were the first to go, and even the vegan paella disappeared by the end of the night. If that doesn't tell you all you need to know about the quality of Real Paella, allow me to try. I requested the Paella Mixta because I love seafood, and I was not disappointed. The shrimp, scallop and mussels were fresh and cooked perfectly. All of the flavors worked well together. The rice, veggies and chicken were cooked and seasoned well. And the lemon added just the right amount of acid to bolster the freshness of the dish. Some other highlights of the night according to guests: tomatoes (in the salad, one guest said they were the best tomatoes they had ever eaten), tapas and drinks (Real Paella also handled the bartending). Throughout the process Juan and Nevin were extremely friendly. They communicate well. I had loads of questions, and they answered them all and were quick to respond.
