We've seen a few principals over the years, teachers come and go, several annual funds, several athletic championships, and the school ebb and flow, in all, we've seen lots of change - ... but one thing remained the same throughout - an unwavering commitment to love on my kids in a way that grows them up on a firm foundation of knowing Christ and one that has grown them into amazing young adults. My wife and I chose private Christian elementary and middle school, then public high school - both for the firm Christian foundation and solid education foundation. In the early years, funds were tight as with all young families and putting a sizeable amount of dollars into ECS was a stretch. Each year God provided. For us, it was a year to year strategy that evolved into a set aside budget, even at the expense of other things... I now have a college freshman who when through Walton High School (firm in her faith and with a 4.0), a sophomore (firm in his faith and solid A/Bs), and another going to Walton next year. I have been so proud to call Eastside Christian School my kids' school home for the last decade. When I first walked the halls, it felt like home. The school just seems to offer everything: exceptional academics (several recent alumni are at Harvard among other impressive schools), a supportive community, a safe environment, and a competitive athletic program. And I can't say enough positive things about the teachers. After 6 years I am so fond of each teacher every year. They ALL genuinely love the kids and their workplace - it makes for such a happy environment. Any time I have ever had a concern, the teachers and administration have been very receptive and welcoming. Yes, there is a good bit of homework. But it seems to be practical and never busy work. The teachers have high expectations from the students and I appreciate that. I am paying a lot of money for my kids to be well prepared for college. Yes, it is a faith-based school. Catholic, in fact. The kids are taught respect, discipline, spirituality, honesty and integrity. And for the students who are not Catholic, I have seen them treated very respectfully. Just like anything, you get out of it what you put into it..... This school thrives on parent involvement. There is a very active Parent Volunteer Association which plans events all throughout the year - for students, teachers, and families. It's a great way to get to know other parents and kids. Parents are always welcome on campus at any time during the day. I feel so grateful to have found this school but what really matters is how happy my kids are because of this school. The best thing you can do is visit HSP and talk to the kids.

I am new to Atlanta, so visit as many as 3 church services every Sunday searching for Divine inspiration & wonderful fellow Christians (THE ONE AND ONLY RELIGION STARTED BY A PROVEN GOD!). Keep feeling myself drawn back to 3 churches, including NPCC. NPCC is unique for having a very dynamic, sincere and magnetic pastor, brilliant sermons, excellent music, a big Auditorium that is very full with lots of beautiful happy adults of all ages in the audience, even more beautiful and happy children in fun rooms with wonderful leaders built around the massive Auditorium. And a sense of the Divine in almost every child & adult I observed & had contact with. Excellent, friendly outside crew efficiently directing you to open parking spaces when arriving & safe exits following the service. (This is more unusual than a great leader). During the last 8 months, I have lived in 4 States from Wyoming (my home) to Atlanta where I luckily own some nice houses. And I will be returning here often. I have not missed at least one church service (sometimes several) every Sunday since - God spoke to me twice - in a very normal male voice that just sounded like a 40 year old friend (I think He recognized His personal intervention was the ONLY way I would have any hope of living with Him in Heaven (wherever that is...)! Until then, I may have attended a church service 3-10 times a year for Easter, Christmas... (I had His invisible presence on an invisible horse riding next to me as I grew up on huge ranches. So why did I need to attend a church?). Now I know. And when I did attend, I was driven to select special churches with good people and great Pastors/Priests! North Point is one of THE VERY BEST I have ever experienced! Attending events there, joining with good people and being inspired by Godly leadership is memorable & life changing!

And having LS, MS, and US together on one campus is such an answer to prayer. One of my favorite things about MBCA is seeing how the older students serve as role models for the younger grades. ACA focuses on helping children achieve their best academically (My daughter is in first grade and reads fluently with amazing annunciation and characterization and as a bonus writes beautifully in cursive) while also focusing on character. I love that my daughter doesn't experience the type of social pressure that exists so early in public school. They make it cool to be kind =) Also, they are very accommodating for allergies which is not a struggle we face but I know how scary that is for many families.
