Sadly, we received terrible service throughout the process. The poor service culminated in our house being left in a mess, an 7x3m carpet in our garden that we cannot lift, and £1500 out of pocket. It's a shame, because I have rung them twice to give them the opportunity to rectify the issues but they are not interested. It appears they will take your money quite happily and then not care about any after care.
The process started with no communication from the shop about how we purchase are carpet the the process of it being fitted. We were told when to pay, and were informed the day before they do not accept card, but after stating we could transfer the money, the magically found a card machine (probably so you can cancel the payment for their terrible service).
The carpet fitters arrived at 8:30am (which was fine, but it would have been nice to have known they were coming so early).
They immediately stated that they couldn't start until the old carpet had been removed by me (again, not an issue, but would have been nice to know). They then didn't help move the furniture (as stated by the salesman they would). After fitting, they informed us that they wouldn't take the old carpet, and left all the offcuts lying around, and the house in a mess. At no point were we informed that the old carpet of offcuts would be left, and would have happily paid for this service. Additionally, the only "solution" they will off is for us to drop the old carpet at the shop, which does not solve our issue.
A really terrible experience, and We are very disappointed at the complete lack of after sale care. What's worse, is the man on the phone would not stop interrupting me. read more
