Years ago, I was their customer for a short while until I found out the office clerk who can explain details to me clearly was not allowed to even talk in the office. She explained details to me by phone for once. That's it. No more after that. That day, her talking in the office was blocked by vice time to time. It was so obviously that made people(customer) feel not comfortable. Vice was also busy on multiple phone calling out to leave messages to might be customers or some where that this office must be tightly talking with/relying on?, if not, this office may lose its super power, things like that. BTW, the reason I walked into this insurance office to move my real estate insurance to there was it's close and I saw it for years. Actually, very soon later, I found out that I should have checked their business before this. The vice was the one seems handles almost all the interaction with customers and other office issues. Is this the reason that vice seems rude time to time? I don't know if there's any bias or no since there's no way for me to get this answer. I only see after for once I spoke loudly in their office and blamed "else where" for some non-existing stuff, the vice became very nice to me. That was soooooooooo impressive. My real estate insurance was updated because of the roof update to a new one. The roof repair company's paper work was sent out without my permission. Extra paperwork contains expensive price of the roof update cost. I changed my insurance agency after this. They may have got into my house driveway or backyard for at least once when no one was in house, without previous notifying me, with no my permission, nor even with my knowledge. They may have done that for checking the house condition. But, there was supposed to be at least a previous notifying and got permission, no matter for what reason. That's the bottom line. I changed my insurance agency. More than 1 year after that, they sent an insurance offer to me. It was offered by an insurance company close to Boston. Bunckle Hill?? The problem is: that offer said it'll automatically get effective since that summer because "I don't have real estate insurance" (said in the offer paper). That means: if it's not canceled, I'll get issue for holding two real estate insurance. There's no any previous communication from them, no call, no letter, no nothing from them previously. How did they know that my house had no house insurance?? And, I took very hard time to ask them to cancel this insurance. The vice said: I would have to "prove" that my house does have insurance. Does that mean: "I don't work with them" equals to "I don't have house insurance"? That sounds so stupid and more like fascism because it likely forced to me. I contacted the insurance company. There was a new girl answered the phone. She wasn't familiar with all processing because she's new, which caused my case got serious problem. She also sounds very rude to me but never like an insurance company was supposed to treat a customer. I had no choice and said I'll file complaint against them and the agency. Heard this, she changed her attitude so soon and begged: please, please don't file any complaint against them. Surprisingly, she even said: "that's all our (insurance company's) fault. it's nothing to do with agency (Metras)". Till then, she agreed to cancel that house insurance for me right away. Concerned about retaliation, I filed complaint against them and the insurance company. But, there won't be any penalty. No any following after that. Even though there wasn't any penalty to any of these two businesses, I did get informed that Metras seems was the one. BTW, this post is edited after it's posted. While I was editing here just now, my keyboard/browser didn't work with each other well. For multiple times, when backspace deleted words, the screen scrolled down that I can't see the edited part. Very strange.
