This cafe is the starting point for boat tours into Standedge Tunnel, the longest canal tunnel in the UK, on the Huddersfield Narrow Canal. The cafe is close to the visitor centre but separate from it. I had a very tasty sausage sandwich here for lunch. The menu is of light meals and pizza, and cakes coffee and scones. Tables and chairs and a lounge area. Staff are helpful. Prices reasonable. Reccommended for lunch when walking along the canal or going to the visitor centre or on the boat tour. read more
