I find it extremely frustrating to plan a trip to refill water on a busy day, only to arrive and see a sign stating the business won't open until later or is closed for unspecified reasons--especially when their listed hours on Google and Maps clearly indicate they should be open. This level of inconsistency is highly unprofessional and makes the business impossible to rely on, as there is no clear indication of when it will actually be operating. There have even been instances where the location appears open in the morning, yet no staff is present. This lack of reliability disrupts my schedule, wastes my time, and results in unnecessary fuel expenses, ultimately demonstrating a clear disregard for customers' time and basic expectations of consistency. Decided to try this place out...The lady working with her young son, were friendly, but (Not very helpful) Now as we were filling up or jugs. We noticed a foul smell like nasty stagnant water. Obviously coming from the water grates underneath where the excess water runs off. Needless to say we were so grossed out! We paid for our water and left. We decided to water our plants @ home and wash out our jugs! We went to fill them up in front of the Stater bros market instead. I would not recommend this water store. They don't clean! read more

I've been buying water here for years but today I wheeled in my 9 gallon bottles of water and two other customers barged in to take up all of the faucets so I had to wait 20 minutes while they filled up their 30 5-gallon bottles. There's no excuse for customers to monopolize the water bench, I don't care if they have a big order or not. If there are other customers wating they should be limited to the number of faucets divided by the number of customers in the store. I spend about $300 a year in this store and they've lost that revenue for good. I'll buy my water elsewhere. read more

Place came highly recommended so I made the short journey up from Redlands. My goal was to purchase 3 to 5 jugs and fill them with water. What a surprise. As I entered I was slightly acknowledged to a point, but I was certainly seen. However, for some reason I stood there for 10 minutes trying to get service and never got it. Head nods, saying excuse me... all the while the attendant just helped person after person come in with their jugs as I stood there. Not sure what that was an indication of, but I tried to get the person's attention several times and they just ignored me more or less. Over the course of the past few years, you've probably noticed that you can't swing a dead cat near your local strip mall without hitting a "water store.". These odd little places have been popping up like weeds all over. The difference is that "The Water Connection", located in Highland in a plaza on the corner of Highland and Palm Aves., was one of the first in the Inland Empire - and in my opinion, is one of the best. When I first saw this place being built about 7-8 years ago, the concept of a Water Store seemed odd to me. The idea is simple - a storefront with a cool-looking five stage water filtration system that lets you fill up all your bottles, tanks, jugs and whatnot with great tasting clean water. Their filtration system is located in the store when you walk in so you can see it in action in a small room. They have a water "bar" where you can bring your jugs and fill up right there. The water pressure, unlike at other such places, is great. They even have an outside vending station where you can fill up your bottles and jugs after hours - all at 25 cents a gallon! You can't beat the price at all. Plus the water is so purer than you can get from those dinky little water machines you see outside grocery stores. What's also very cool is that they also sell a variety of water crocks with lovely designs on them, stands, bottles, jugs of all sizes, dog watering dishes and bowls, electric water coolers, etc. They also have all kinds of cute gifts and such - mainly pottery related. Oh - and you can pay your Southern Calfironia Edison bill here, too! LOL! Anyway - they were one of the first in the area...and their staying power and quality of clean water they produce gives it 5 stars. read more

I found this place because it came up as a location to pay a utility bill. When I finally got tired of paying Arrowhead an arm and a leg to deliver water to my home, I gave The Water Connection a try. It's WAY CHEAPER to fill up your 5 gallon water bottles at The Water Connection than to have water delivered plus the water tastes fresh and clean. There's a guy that's always there, I assume he's the owner, that will carry your full bottles to your car for you and if he isn't with another customer when you walk in, he'll fill your bottles for you as well. He's also one of the friendliest guys you'll ever come across. If you don't have bottles to fill, you can buy them there. $1.50 for 5 gallons, you can't go wrong! read more

I've been coming here for 8 years now and ever since the new owners took over the water does not taste the same. They must not be doing something right. I travel 5 miles to get here just for the water because it used to taste great. But now that this place is not what it used to be and the water taste nasty, I'm just going to take my money and drive 10 miles to Clark's nutritional store and get my water there. Oh and another thing, how did the price go from 30 cents a gallon to 35? Never coming here again. I might as well be drinking Tapwater from my Fossett if I wanted water that taste like the water they sell here. AND!! They don't carry your water to your car anymore. I also asked how much for a new 5 gallon jug. They are selling it for 20 dollars. Talk about price gouging. Smh . Don't waste your time coming here to see for yourself. Go to Clark's. I love this water store! and Jim, the owner who is always there, gives great customer service. It is true as written in Michelle's review, he will fill your water bottles for you and carry them to your car. Just the other day I brought seven water bottles to fill, some 3 gal and 5 gal, and he filled and carried them all to my car. I didn't have to lift a finger. Mind you, they are too heavy for me to carry anyways. I have been to several other water stores and this one is the best by far.
