I spoke with the owner, Matt, and explained that I'd bought a sofa off of Kijiji yesterday, and upon getting it back to my condo and removing the slipcover to put a fresh one on, realized that it was infested with bed bugs. Disgusting and very distressing. I immediately put the sofa on my patio, along with a few small garbage bags of dog bedding and blankets that had been near the sofa, and closed the patio door. First thing this morning, I called these guys. I was upfront with Matt that I had a sofa with bed bugs that I needed hauled away, and is this something he handles. He was super empathetic, and actually apologized that I had to deal with the situation I was in. He said he could help, and even rearranged his schedule for the day so that he'd make it to my place within 90 minutes. HUGE sigh of relief... he also said he'd wrap the sofa in plastic to avoid any possible contamination as he and his team removed it. Matt and his team showed up within the hour, and actually ended up removing the sofa right from my patio, so that they didn't even have to bring it back through my condo. They also took away the bags of dog bedding. It was very fast and painless, and cost me $90, which is more than fair. Right after he left, I realized that I'd accidentally put a childhood blanket that belonged to my mom in the garbage bag with the dog bedding. UGH.. I texted Matt, and he said not to worry, I'll fish the blanket out for you, and have it washed and will keep it for you until you're able to pick it up. Talk about service! I'd highly recommend Matt, and will definitely hire him in future. 5 stars all the way!!

He also let me know that he could disinfect, and since we hadn't had our carpets cleaned since we moved in (7 years! Yikes!), I went ahead and added that service for a little extra. Total cost was around $170-ish with the disinfecting solution. He did a great job, got up some stains (and lots of cat hair!) that had been there for quite a while. My carpets look fantastic! Thanks, Alex for a great job.

I bought a couple of urban barn chairs three years ago that needed to be cleaned and freshened up prior to my planned house move. He carefully detailed the process and all costs involved. Highly recommend.

My mother is a heavy smoker, so the house had nicotine stains underneath the sofas. The owner, Dominic went to the house with another technician to do the carpet cleaning. He did a good job removing the stains, but was not as attentive to the edges of the stairs and closets. Overall, for the price, he didn't do a bad job. I would recommend this carpet cleaning company to others.

I decided upon Just Junk due to their Yelp reviews and because they had an online booking and estimate tool. Booking a pick-up was super easy on the website and allowed me to look at the schedule in advance to see when I could potentially book a pick-up time. Once I'd made a decision on the day and time, booking the actual appointment took seconds and didn't require me to wait until specific daytime hours. I received a confirmation email after booking and a notification email before the actual appointment. Plus, I was easily able to email Just Junk with a question that I had before my appointment, which they answered promptly. On the actual day of pick-up, the Just Junk guys arrived near the end of the 2-hour window, as I had booked an evening appointment. I showed them what I needed done, they explained the service and potential costs and then gave me a complete estimate before they did any work. Then they went to work! What impressed me was that these guys were in such a good mood for two guys who were carrying junk out of some stranger's home! They were both very nice and funny and did their work quickly and without complaint. They removed all the items I needed to have removed and they did it in record time. Paying for the service was super-easy, but they did have a problem with their portable credit card machine (not their fault). I received the credit card receipt in paper, but I also got a full receipt via email within an hour. Overall, I would highly recommend Just Junk if you need any amount of stuff removed from your home for any reason.
