And to be honest I forgot to look at what other 'Things' she sold! I did not have much time so I simply admired all the shoes collection - particularly the boots! - mostly heeled and many were unique, I have been a bit put off by the generic ones I am seeing everywhere in the department stores or cheap shoes outlets where I usually go simply because that is all the budget will allow But, having said that, I think it is wise to buy a few good quality shoes, it is worth it in the long run, for the sake of your health and the sake of the shoe lasting; I recall some cheap flats I bought last winter and had only worn them for one day when the shoes and I got caught in a down pour - and they fell apart straight after that, parting is such sweet sorrow...

You're left dazed and confused standing next to someone who's got an awfully ugly shirt on. With Jet, this won't happen. They can do their 'quick-fast-get-me-out-of-here' shop but the clothes are fashionable so they'll be looking hot to trot. And what's better is they have great sales. There's always a $20 or $50 rack out the front with some good stuff on it that won't hurt your bank balance. The staff are onto it and are really willing to help you, which is a rarity these days. I'd definitely be taking your next male shopper here next time you go out. And you might even find something for you too.

This shop fills all my wants and needs as it's packed with awesome stuff at the best prices. Whether I'm late for party and need to pick up sellotape asap, or am just in the mood to browse around all their crazy store, it's great. It'd be a really great place to do the yearly shopping for the kids' stationary as they have everything other stationary stores have, but it's just a lot cheaper. Otherwise, if you're just a stationary nerd like me, it's a great way to fill in an afternoon hehe.

In all lengths, sizes, designs, colours you will find it here. When we came we managed to find what we wanted to store clothes - a hanging drawer system, dishes - a dish rack with under tray and just what we needed, shoes - shoe rack and also a storage thing for our bathroom stuff. Also what they sell here is good quality and it will last so while you might see something similar somewhere else for sure its not as good quality. There are also DIY wardrobe systems which the lovely staff at Albany will help you with.

I stumbled upon Hunter Furniture when I was on Link Drive one weekend. I'd been looking for a sofa…read morefor a while, and thought I'd pop in to have a look. Really nice big store, with a good display of furniture items and accessories. Not too cluttered and lots of natural light. I was approached by a friendly shop assistant who was very knowledgeable about their products. I was very interested in buying New Zealand made, and many of their products are made here, but not all, depending on the type of materials required. I went back about six weeks later during one of their sales (20-50% off everything in store) and was served by another really knowledgeable sales person. Another nice thing was that I could choose the material and colours for the sofa I was interested in (I don't think this is possible with ALL items). I was really happy with the final price - although you could probably get a cheaper version of a similar styled item elsewhere, I was happy to spend a little more, as I was happy with the quality of the product. Only needed a 20% deposit as well. Some of the styles were not quite to my taste (i'm a bit fussy!) but am really happy with my new sofa!!
